We happened here by chance after a day of hiking in the Shawnee National Forest. We had a late lunch around 2pm and my first impression was that the facility and atmosphere were great. My wife and I both ordered the cheeseburger and homemade chips. The burgers were a little under cooked but the chips were really good. But our service was TERRIBLE!! Our food took forever to come up and refills were non existent. Even though we were about the only ones in the place. Only reason I’m giving 4 stars and not 3 was I feel like a different time of day may be better.

Great bloody Mary, pickle in it was awesome. Rib eye was really, char grilled perfect med rare. Garlic bread with it was . Glad we stopped, friendly staff, good prices for the good quality of food.

Stopped in for a few cold beers on a hot day and some appetizers. The drafts are served in a frosted glass and were oh so refreshing. The appetizers were not too expensive but very small portions. They were tasty none the less. The manager on duty was awesome, very attentive with an outgoing pleasant personality. I will check it out again.

Not great experience with staff. Had to walk around the host stand to get straws after we got our drinks and waited. Then was told they didn’t have any of the side I ordered while I got my steak instead of them looking while the order was in. Drinks ran dry. Took 23 minutes to get the bill after we said we were done, Steak was well done too

Had my birthday party there. Staff was wonderful, food was delicious, atmosphere was awesome and the music by Lane Davis was phenomenal! Highly recommend this establishment. We will definitely be back! Thanks for making wonderful memories for this birthday

First time here and will never return. We were the only table. Waitress was rude and had to ask for items several times!!! I think if she smiled would have broken her face. Didn’t ask one time how everything was!!!! Fish sandwich was disgusting!!! Perhaps you should use smaller plates which may make your small food look bigger !!!! Will never return !!!!’
