I visited on a slow day for the restaurant, but I could definitely see if there was a crowd how service could be drastically different. It was a busy day for the course as there were a good number of members around playing golf and doing other activities.

The Hideout Grill is one of the best when it comes to a golf course clubhouse. The food is always amazing and the full bar is a plus. Did I mention the great views of the Hill country!!

Had lunch for son’s birthday. It was a great experience and the service was excellent. The prices are very reasonable and good we’ll prepared. 9 people for lunch and bill was under $150 with tip. The view from deck is outstanding with course and lake

What a wonderful dinner! We randomly choose this place from Google Maps on a Friday night while passing through town on the way to Austin. It wasn’t clear from the description but this is the restaurant of a country club. We got lucky and arrived at 9:28 and were told the kitchen closes at 9:30 but they could seat us. The menu is short but has several appetizers and a handful of entrees. We started with the stuffed mushrooms caps and onion rings, both of which were tasty. For entrees we had stuffed chicken, sauteed shrimp, and salmon. Everything was delicious. The environment is pleasant and looks brand new. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and level of style. I’m glad we stopped here.

Over priced and over crowded, might be better on a weekday but the fish on the buffet was cold at 5:30 pm as well as all the other sides. The waitress was a sweet heart. But I don’t feel like we’ll be returning soon.

I will preface I only had 1 hour to eat but came in and waited to be seated and was told to sit anywhere. All the other seats where dirty so I waited longer nothing happening so I sat at a dirty table. A few minutes passed and a waitress came and cleared the table and got my drink order (coffee not good) and told me the other waitress would wait on me. A few minutes passed I got my coffee and after 10 minutes of no one taking my order. I put a $10 bill on the table and left. 2 waitresses 1 manger and a total of 5 tables with people at them and it was beyond their limits. I have a house on the lake and have heard mixed remarks about the restaurant so I tried to go. But can imagine the food be satisfactory with such poor service. It could be a bad day or me just being a whiner on a Sunday morning. Love the course and the people running it

Nice, moderately upscale restaurant with beautiful views, low key bar, and season themed decorations. Casual wear is acceptable. Husband and I ate breakfast which was pretty basic but tasty menu items (pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, omelettes) with reasonable price. We also had dinner which is quite a bit more pricey, but more unique flavor options. We were able to split an entree for a perfect portion. And the dessert is phenomenal!

Our first time at the grill was 4-5 months ago,, and our last time to eat here most likely. Waited approximately 75 minutes for the meal after order. My plate had long black hair cooked into the batter, and my wife’s chicken was burnt. Of course the manager was informed, and with an apology we received the full undiscounted bill. Well, although it’s a beautiful area and has a nice dining room, I don’t think we’ll be back for the food.
