This is a bar and restaurant at the American Legion. As you walk in is the bar area, then some tables with pool tables and HD sports TVs, and further in is the main seating area. Ordered a pot roast sandwich with sweet potatoes fries. Waitress was wonderful, helpful, and attentive. Place was clean and well lit. The sandwich was amazing and filling. I did not expect this quality of service and amazingly delicious food here. Great place to eat and watch sports.

As a resident of Chicago, which has some of the best food in the Midwest, I was not expecting much from a restaurant in a small town. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the service, demeanor, and quality of food that was provided by the staff at the hideout. The owners, Mr. and Mrs. Anderson go above and beyond to ensure that each and every diner has the the most pleasant experience possible. It’s a shame that this restaurant is not located closer to me in Chicago. Otherwise I’d be dining here every night!

This place is a little hidden gem in Morris Illinois. They have great food, mellow atmosphere and best of all great prices and large quantities of food. The staff are also very pleasant. You can’t go wrong on anything you order!
