Guyana Day USA, Inc- NY Chapter team visiting Florida and dinned at the Hibiscus Restaurant. The food was exceptional; service was equally great. The atmosphere was very inviting, and the ambiance superb. Staff were friendly. The owner Tim was warm and courtesy. We highly recommend Hibiscus Florida. Oh, the music was tantalizing.

Great Guyanese stlye dishes, including Gt Chinese food and a well stocked bar. I had the Duck curry, and it was delicious to the bone. I definitely recommend Hibiscus for that authentic Guyanese food and experience.

Coworker suggested we try this place to break the monotony of places we keep going to. I ordered chicken in the ruff. First off upon picking up my order the food looked well portioned and good. The fried rice had flavor and I really didn’t need to drawn this meal in sauce, although they gave 2 little packets of soy and duck sauce for 2 different meals?? Chicken was well cooked, I was not a fan of the cut though. I will be back so I’ll ask for it to be cooked well. The skin was on the soggy side.

Waited long just to order my food / drinks. Waited long just for drinks and food to come. The waiter / customer service was not knowledgeable of food and didn’t care to take care of me. Waited long to get condiments. Customer Service was not great at all, but the food was good.

The son of the owner was very arrogant and nasty they keep changing their price everytime I went there and when I brought it to their attention the son was extremely rude and nasty to me,so I told him that I won’t be returning here I have brought lots of customer to this business and after his reaction towards what I was trying to tell him he was absolutely rude and nasty..a part that everytime I went there that quantity of the food keep changing. Like we need to be consistent.
