Place hasn’t changed in 20 years. Drink was ok. I was charged $4 on happy hour for a 1 shot drink, so that’s pretty high. Nachos had a few pieces of old hamburger, some tomatoes and wilty Lettuce. Yum. Garlic cheese bread was pretty good. Probably wont be back.

My daughter and I went to the Hawk’s Nest at about 2:30 on a Saturday, so it wasn’t crowded at all, service was swift and our server was very friendly and polite. We had the coconut shrimp and walleye sandwich. Both were perfect! Perfectly breaded and flavorful. I will definitely return but am stuck on getting one of these two dishes because they were both so great! The only negative thing was that the onion rings with the coconut shrimp were cold when I received them. They were still good though. I would recommend the Hawk’s Nest.

First time having dinner here. Nice, quiet atmosphere. Ordered the fried tacos. They were good. I was impressed with it all and will be going back!

If you’re looking for a hole in the wall type of bar/restaurant – this is your place! Beautiful views in the summer on the deck. Best fish sandwich I’ve ever had – including my own.
