Our main focus is our speciality pizzas offering a wide variety of toppings which include multiple sauce options, locally sourced produce, all natural meats, three different crusts and many different cheeses. We have vegetarian and gluten free options. Additionally, we offer an extensive variety of appetizers, salads, desserts and weekly pasta specials. We have 8 local beers on taps (which rotate), a variety of bottled beers and a large assortment of red and white wines. Happy Hour is Monday through Friday from 4pm-6pm with $2 off most items. A friend and I have our monthly meetings over pizza, brilliant idea I know. We’re always searching for new places to try. The Haven is in my back yard and it honestly tops my list of best pizza we’ve had after probably 8 meetings. It may not be the classic NY style that an enthusiast is after but it sure is delicious and exactly what I was craving. We shared a small antipasto salad and a 12” pepperoni pizza with mushrooms and jalapeños. Perfect amount of food for lunch. Excellent crust, chewy with great texture, and high quality toppings. Shaded patio and indoor seating with comfortable booths, great for people watching. Great service too. As we were leaving, they were getting a delivery of fresh pasta from a shop I love in Little Italy. Will have to come back and try more!

My wife and I have been going to Ken Café and their sister restaurant, The Haven Pizzeria, for years. Their delicious food, kind staff, and involvement in the Kensington community is what makes Ken Café our go-to brunch spot and Haven our favorite lunch or dinner date location. When we got engaged we wanted to have a low key legal ceremony with family and a small cocktail-style reception with family and friends. It was important to us that we stay in the neighborhood and that we choose a location for the reception that meant a lot to us as a couple.

We ate the soup and waffle-pressed grilled cheese sandwich so fast we almost didn’t remember to take a picture! The New New York pizza was excellent. Also the Pasta Alla Vodka was really good too. Can’t wait to come back and try more pizzas!

Firstly, this place does NOT do Neapolitan pizza as someone stated (nor is it “authentic” Italian”), the server didn’t even know what Neapolitan was! The pizzas are good however and a nice happy hour. Unfortunately my stomach didn’t play well at night after eating which means the mozzarella they use isn’t likely fresh. Worth a try otherwise.

Fabulous food! We got two cauliflower pizzas and a salad. The ingredients were fresh and local. Everything tasted homemade. The service was great. Their prices were reasonable. We loved that they can make almost everything on their menu gluten free. They also have tons of vegan and vegetarian options. We’ll definitely be back!

This is a great part of town and the people and food were awesome. I love pizza but came in with high expectations. And The Haven Pizzeria did not disappoint. First off had an small Anti pasto salad. The salad was obviously made for us. It did not feel packaged at all. Delicious ingredients and great presentation. And I got a small pizza with pepperoni, jalapeño, and mushroom. There were lots of suggested pizzas but opted to choose some toppings myself. It had a amazing crust and the toppings were fresh. Truly an am excellent pizza. Looking forward to going again.

Great tasting food, me my spouse and my 2 year old tried (shrimp lemon Alfredo, Dave’s meatballs, the Cesar salad, and BBQ chicken pizza) all 4 were good. We also left with pasta and chicken too; great service and polite women only one thing I wished was a little bit different was the timing of the food but the wait ensures quality so that’s why 4/5
