Heather was our waitress during this first visit. The food was amazing. Each item had a unique but outstanding flavor. Heather did a great job, was super attentive and helpful. We had chicken and shrimp. Biscuits with chicken. Hush puppies along with cheese fries. Lastly a kids meal with macaroni and cheese and chicken. Wish we lived closer.

Our group had a very trying day, wandered around city market looking for a place that would take good care of us, the Hatch did that! Amber our waitress was attentive and courteous during our meal. We ordered the shrimp and grits as well as a bottle of wine and both were incredible. Two words. Eat here.

Cute! Nice atmosphere, right outside the Farmers Market. The wings hit the spot. Sierra was a lovely prompt server. Nice mid-range bistro for simple but satisfying menu options. It is a downtown restaurant, be prepared to pay to park. I spent 9$ for two hours of parking, which isn’t the worst.

My friend and I visit different restaurants throughout the city that we haven’t tried before. Today we visited The Hatch and let me tell you, from start to finish, this establishment DID NOT disappoint at all. First our server Taylor was amazing. I appreciate her suggestions-, we started with the Spicy Crunchy Shrimp and Fried Green Tomatoes. Two words: Mouth Watering! The sauce on the shrimp was coated to perfection! The fried green tomatoes came fresh from the grease and not overly seasoned. I would have liked maybe so red pepper flakes but that is my own personal preference. Otherwise you really can’t go wrong with either! We dove into the appetizers and I forgot to take a picture! And yes the presentation for each dish was nicely done!

My server was Amber, she was amazing! I’m a flight attendant and I flew in for work, I asked for suggestions and whatever she suggested I got. The food was amazing, I had the shrimp & grits with lobster and catfish & my drink was amazing as well, I had the Henny Pineapple Upside Down Cake Cocktail! I will be back every time I visit. I want to give Amber a shoutout for giving superb customer service & a shoutout to the cook. Everyone was so nice & welcoming from the entrance. I will recommend this place to any and everyone! First time there, won’t be my last. My chicken was very good. Chicken a tiny bit dry but flavor off the charts. The gravy was so awesome, I think I could have eaten it as a soup. Mac and cheese excellent too. My server, Amber, was wonderful. She is about the best I’ve experienced. Not only was she efficient and kind but so attentive, meeting every need and then some. So if you’re out and about “y’all” really should try “The Hatch” and ask for Amber (she’ll be working weekends).
