The food was okay. Not great but not horrible. We had the shrimp for an appetizer. Hawaiian burger & FF. Prime rib sandwich & collard greens. The collard greens were horrible. Everything else was decent.

We enjoyed our meal. We started with some fresh, piping hot mozzarella sticks. I ordered the pot roast dinner, and my husband had the lasagna. We both finished with a delicious cherry cobbler.

Unique atmosphere that fits the area perfectly. Lots of military paraphernalia that makes for a fun atmosphere. The food was great! I had large fried shrimp that had a wonderful batter, my husband & sister had Rubens they said were delicious, served with a veggie medley and sweet potato fries.

Seems like a great lil spot for some pretty decent food as well. Service was a bit slow and unorganized, but our server seemed brand new so I don’t think it was indicative of the overall operations. But the food was great. Shrimp was huge and battered beautifully and the steak was decent. Pretty tough for a medium rare. Not a steak place for sure. But looking forward to returning and trying out the rest of the menu.

We were not too impressed with this one. Slow to get seated. Waitress was great, very friendly and helpful. Atmosphere was a bit dead. Food was not on par with what we’ve had in the area in traditional restaurants. Very bland and generic tasting. Table was sticky. We have no intentions of returning. The place seems to have a lot of history, would be great if the atmosphere and food would jump up a few notches.

The sweet potato fries were very fresh and delicious. Our server was very nice and attentive. Will be back to try more food items.

We always look for restaurants that are cool and local on our trips, this place is both of those things. I had a Buffalo chicken sandwich – 3 fried tenders on a buttered bun with fries and a large side of ranch. My husband had the patty melt and Blue Angel chips. The food was excellent and well worth the 3 mile trip off the highway for lunch. Loved all the military memorabilia

We stopped in for a late lunch on our way home from my husband’s Dr.s appointment. I would have given the food a 5 star, but 1 or 2 of our menu items could have used a little tweak or two. I found it to be a little pricey for my budget, but, over all not a bad dining experience.
