Handlebar had good reviews online so we were excited about trying it out. It’s a cool little dive bar for bikers that is supposed to have great food. But I found the cheeseburger dry and without flavor. Which was disappointing because I really wanted to like this place. The service was nice and it’s in an old gas station which is kind of cool but I was disappointed by the quality of the cheeseburger. They weren’t very busy, and there were several other places on that Route 66 Corridor in Amarillo that had lots more traffic and one even had live music while we were driving past. Next time we’ll try one of the other locations.

If you ever travel Rout 66 through Amarillo you have to stop at The Handle Bar and Grill. Jessica was her name and….. her service and personality locked us down. We had so much fun!!

This place is perfect. The picture is the bloody Mary and it was definitely worth the drive over. Service was excellent and the crowd was a good mix. Definitely a regulars type place so if you’re in the area I recommend going often and making friends.
