Was welcomed by the tantalising aroma of freshly-baked waffles so of course, had to try them, and they didn’t disappoint – so yummy. Also Had the gumbo and it was delicious.

Excellent meal with a view of the ocean. The jalapenos stuffed with seafood was really good. The staff was great. The beignets were better than the ones we have had in Nola. The Po boy was giant! All around a good dining experience. Prices were just a little higher than I would have liked, but that is all restaurants lately. We would recommend this place and will visit again when we are in the area.

One of the most delicious jambalaya I’ve tasted thus far. Filled with goodness. The service from the waiter, was superb. The decorations were so in place and Beautiful. Nice menu. I have to go back soon and try their gumbo. You got to try the jambalaya. I recommend this place if you happen to be in Galveston.

We decided to stop in for breakfast while visiting Galveston. We got there at about 10:15 A.M. there was a wait of about 45 mins. It was a holiday, so understandable . The waitstaff was amazing! The host was really nice and I believe it was a manager, came around to see how we were doing. The portions are large, we got two orders of one of their pancake combos with eggs and bacon. We also got the chicken and waffles. I didn’t care for the food too much so I didn’t really eat it. They also allow animals inside and that’s a big no no for me, I don’t eat with animals. I think that may have played into me losing my appetite. I don’t know. I probably won’t go back due to the animal presence, but if thats not an issue for you, go try it, the staff alone will win your heart.

What a great restaurant. We started with the Seafood Stuffed Jalepenos, and while slightly overfried the flavor was amazing with just the right amount of heat. I had the Boubon Street Plater which comes with Shrimp Gumbo, Crawfish Ettoufee, Bacon Wrapped Shrimp, Crawfish and Sausage Jambalaya, green geans and white rice. Everything on this platter was good, but the star was the Jambalaya, it was literally half Crawfish and easily the best I’ve ever eaten. My wife had the Shrimp Platter which comes with your choice of grilled, fried or blackened Shrimp (or a combination), fries and coleslaw. She loved the grilled shrimp and coleslaw. We will be making this place a regular stop when we visit Galveston.

It’s not a fancy place but it is great food. The shrimp and grits were delicious – succulent shrimp and delicious cheesy grits. Michelle was a great waitress. I look forward to coming back and enjoying shrimp and grits again. Though, I could see them making the waffles for different dishes; the waffles smelled really good. I may have to come back for breakfast.

This restaurant really felt tailored for tourists, which if thats your thing then have at it. The food was decent, but not for the price tag. Service was somewhat slow, but for rush hour somewhat understandable. There wasnt much atmosphere to speak of, but the view of the seawall wasnt bad (if you get sat on that side of the restaurant).

This is a great place. Really good food and they serve breakfast all day. All of the breakfast food looked good. I had the Sausage Gumbo and Shrimp Po Boy. Both were great and would say you have to try them. The manager came by and asked everyone how was their meals which was nice. Small place and pretty busy but the food comes out fast. Overall a great experience.
