This is an awesome restaurant in Mt Vernon! Regular cafe type fare. I got a grilled chicken salad. The chicken was cooked to perfection. I tasted the burger of someone I was with and it was an excellent burger. It was lunch and I don’t need dessert but they looked amazing.

I was looking for something local to eat, not the usual fastfood places which are everywhere. So I arrived here and this pretty small and nice local diner, I got a Reuben’s sandwich with baked beans on the side. It was not haute cuisine, but it tasted good and of course way better than McDonald’s or other fast food, which you can find plenty in the area.

Amazing Greek salad with chicken. Greens were fresh and crunchy, feta and chicken were both tasty. Loved it! My family liked their burger, fries and cheese curds, too. Friendly staff, plenty of menu options. Food came out super quick, which was appreciated as we are en route to our next stop on a road trip.

Really glad we found this place near the hotel. Older location but dont let that fool you, the food was amazing and very tasty! Steak was properly prepared and seasoned well! Definitely worth the visit!!

Another great Google find conveniently located just off I 57/I 64. Friendly service and good food make this place a choice eatery. I got the Gyro sandwich and onion rings, both quite tasty. Hubby got the Turkey Bacon melt and French fries and said they hit the spot. Good prices made for an all around pleasant experience. Definitely recommend!

Filled with locals, but right next to the roadside hotels. A complete charmer! Had chicken smothered in grilled onions, mushrooms and Swiss cheese…delicious! My son gobbled up the fried catfish and hushpuppies, and my husband said the Reuben was close to as good as a NY deli. And… Fried, fresh Wisconsin cheese curds!

The staff are exceptional! in this wonderful place. The breakfast options were good and our food was great. The potato alternative to hash browns was amazing – crispy outside, creamy inside and not at all greasy. I’m sorry I don’t recall what they are called – home fries? American fries? They have a nice list of bread options including English muffins, sourdough and rye. We were there for breakfast so we didn’t try the ice creams, custards, cakes or pies, but they looked great and there was a great selection
