First of all, they stop sandwich and wrap service at 5 p.m. (???), yet my party saw a waitress delivering a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich to another table at 5:40 p.m. When I requested the same treatment, I was told the kitchen doesn’t make sandwiches after 5 p.m. WHAT??? I ended up having the shrimp tacos – 3 tacos for $16! They were good tacos, but not $5.33 each tacos! The place is nice inside with good views of the golf course and of Fountain Hills. The service staff, however, were, quite frankly, terribly. No water, no silverware, no refill requests from our waitress on drinks, didn’t know the menu, etc., etc., etc. Basically a group of high school kids trying to run a floor with apparently no training or direction from management. Couple these issues with the WAY overpriced menu and I will not be back.

Visited with some friends for lunch before they headed back north. Philly cheese steak sandwich BIG and delicious. Wife had teriyaki chicken tacos and said would get them again next time. Service was great. We’ll be back.

Attended an investment seminar there so hard to tell what their menu is really like $$+. Food was plain but tasty. Views are great from the dining areas. Rated golf course nicely situated and maintained. Worth a trip for lunch. Finally tried lunch menu. Tasty. Nicely remodeled. Friendly server. All handicap spots taken by “disabled” golfers.

Great food, great service and great views! The Desert Canyon (DC) golf course here is the first and longest running in the Fountain Hills area. Great rates especially when using their Club Card. This card also gets you discounts at the bar & grill. The views of the surrounding mountains are simply breathtaking. Enjoyed food and drinks on the patio of the bar and grill and was not disappointed.
