Wow ! No other words can describe our dining experience. We enjoyed a stunning Friday lunch at the Grill. Julian Black and his well trained team delivered a superb experience. The service is seamless, the food is epic and overall feeling is one of joy. A must do if you’re ever visiting NYC. Thank you to the Grill team for looking after us. We’ll be back.

I had the pleasure of dining at The Grill, and I must say it was an outstanding experience. The food served was of exceptional quality, prepared with skill and offering a delightful array of flavors. The service provided was equally impressive, with attentive staff who displayed a keen eye for detail. From start to finish, The Grill exceeded my expectations, leaving me thoroughly satisfied and eager to return.

Modern NYC steakhouse. Very nice busy ambience and service is excellent. All the food served are very high quality and tasty. Expecially the pasta ala presse..using the concept of the french pressed duck, where as using a special machine and compressed the bones of game and duck and veg and squeeze out the juices from the bone. Then uses these bone juice essence to make a sauce to make the pasta….a good show and delicious.

First time visiting The Grill and the experience was exquisite from beginning to end. Absolutely delicious. Our server, I believe his name is Matthew was lovely. So rich and knowledgeable about food and spirits, it was inspirational. Our children loved their meal and we, the adults were just delighted. We would have just wished the offered valet parking, at the very least. It’s not pleasant to stress about parking right before your meal. Hopefully, they can figure something out soon. Otherwise, everything in their menu is a must try!

The most beautiful bar in the city, you just feel special. I was by myself and the bartenders were very attentive. They made sure my experience was amazing, suggested a wine pairing to my dishes which was an added bonus. The manager checked on me multiple times which was nice.

To start off, this review would benefit you significantly if you are an Asian coming to this restaurant. This restaurant has been my dream since I was 15, and coming to this place today was like a dream come true. However, this is where my dream turns into regret and disappointment. I came to the grill with 4 other people. When the bread was at the table, I asked for more butter. The response I got is that the server in the white attire turned to the side to mock me about my request and giggled with another server. After a while, that same server came to the table to pick up the menu and bumped into me quite hard. To be honest, it could have been an accident. But the thing that made me quite sure that it wasn’t is that after the incident, he walked over to another server and started talking about something, looking back at my table, and then proceeded to burst into laughter. Then, 10 minutes later, I asked the gentleman in a suit to bring me some butter, which he promptly brought 3 plates of butter to my table. Guess what? 30 seconds later, the same server who mocked and made fun of my table returned with more butter and said, ‘Are you sure that those butter are enough?’ with a mimicking tone. After that, he proceeded to walk away smiling at another server. I would like to say that I have been in the States for more than a week, and I can say that the hospitality at a local diner was much, much more welcoming than this. I do not expect the service to be the finest, but I also do not expect to be treated like a beggar who comes to ask for food, which I paid for at a high price. In summary, I would highly recommend that you save your money, your energy, and your feelings and go elsewhere.
