Before today I never knew there was a difference in Greene turtle locations. I have been to Hanover and Pasadena locations many times but the Waugh Chapel location does not meet the same quality. We were seated without napkins or silverware.

Green Turtle does not dissapoint. We can go with the whole family and everyone can choose something they love. Favorites include the pretzel sticks, crab dip, the burger , hoghammers (the biggest ribs ever) and more. Also, can’t forget about the drinks, orange crush is the best!

We loved the service, most of the food, and the larger booths to fit 6 of us, easily. There is a secondary room within that could be used for events, but I didn’t notice if it could be completely closed off. Our server, Danny was friendly, helpful, and very attentive without being intrusive. The Buffalo nachos, pretzels, and beer cheese were just as delicious as they had been at the previous site (thank goodness!). The only thing we didn’t like was the chili, because it was heavy on the tomato flavor, but that’s just personal taste. FYI, for any Root Beer connoisseurs out there, their house root beer is now a family favorite. Can’t wait to come back!

I was met with a smile and great customer service! Jess was knowledgeable of the menu; jovial; and constantly made sure that “everything was okay!” I had the Cajun shrimp pasta (I added the blackened chicken) with pretzel sticks. It was the best Cajun dish that I’ve had since visiting New Orleans!! I highly recommend this location for atmosphere; great customer service; and EXCELLENT food. PS the vanilla chocolate cheesecake with caramel sauce and pecan was the BOMB!!!!!

We went here to grab some food after a long day. It was not crowded at all which was cool with us. I ordered the fish and fries. My husband ordered a burger with sweet potato fries. We also ordered old bay wings which were really good. The fish was so chewy like it had been overcooked. My husband enjoyed his burger but his sweet potato fries looked burnt as well. I think this was an isolated incident but it left an impression. I will return but I’m a little tainted now.

This was my first time dining at The Greene Turtle (Gambrills, MD). FOOD: Not terrible, but just okay. I had the smoky bbq pork sandwich, which is supposed to be a signature dish. BBQ sauce was bland, the pulled pork was a bit chewy, and there seemed to be more toppings (onion straws and slaw) than meat. Fries were good. Peach iced tea was too sweet. SERVICE: We were very appreciative of our server Mariah. She appeared to be the only person working the dining room. She was cheery and attentive to our table despite being stretched. She took good care of our table and provided service with a smile.

A party of 3 with a newborn but it wasn’t a big deal because the place was practically empty on a Thursday around 1:00pm. This was my first experience at a Greene Turtle. We were greeted by Danielle and seated quickly, she was also our server. The place was thoroughly clean! From the floors to the menus (hate a sticky menu), tables, both bathrooms were spotless and smelled nice. Bonus… the silverware wasn’t chipped or scratched!

I had a pretty good experience at this location. Service was great and the food was delicious. Nothing spectacular, hence the 4 star rating. I would definitely return and try other things on their menu.
