This location has great scenery but the lady that took our order was so uptight and was charging us for a soup that lacked juice. I was alarmed that she charged me 1.25 but paid. The food was not bad but for the way I was treated I will not return. I hope they change there attitude and make customers feel appreciated for there business. First impressions mean everything.

Awful! We were waiting about 2 hours to get THIS?!? It’s overpriced and the most horrible quality food I’ve ever had! Duck was completely burnt, shrimps with garlic sauce were like soup with 5 shrimps and not well prepared vegetables. Avoid this place!

The end of an era in the San Fernando Valley. The Great Wall has been one of my favorite places to eat since the 1980’s for it’s classic Mandarin food and beautiful interior decor. Now there are new owners. Old, familiar faces are gone. I really miss the old staff who were there when I was 18 and who for over 30 years had aged gracefully along with me. They lent a sense of permanence that was unique and very special. Quality of food is still excellent but things have changed. No lunch specials on Saturday, no free candied apple. I had a wonderful spicy-red seafood soup here today. Back in the day the tea-smoked duck was one of the best things you could possibly get here in the Valley. I am hopeful they can keep the same high standards, but some of the Chinese vibe I cherished maybe gone forever.

This place is very overpriced sorry to say that the food wasn’t that great. The Chow Mein was very dry and very small portion on the plate. I asked if there was more coming and she said no do you want to buy more, also she brought me a fountain drink and directly said no refills very rude! Not coming back here again and not recommending anyone here.. The place was very empty, we were the only customers there, I can see why!!!the food seems old and overpriced and they have horrible customer service!

20 + years been going here for birthday dinner. Now I’m married and invited my in laws to join us and I was so embarrassed! It was like I entered the twilight zone! Nothing like it used to be, it was completely empty and dark! And smelled like a public restroom. The food quality was 6/10 quantity was 4/10. It’s hard to say what you should order to drink, the tea was ok, fountain soda was awful so we ordered a can soda and it tasted off, so when we checked, it was expired in May of 22. We tried to explain and the boss lady said it expired in year 2200… 177 year shelflife!?That’s not even the worse part, after everything they signed the check for me, the tip and total amount! It’s gonna be a sad loss to the Reseda area. I can’t see how they keep the lights on through the year if they continue to provide experiences like the one we had today. The great wall is no longer great.

Ordered this online. Normally I don’t like to do bad reviews but after spending over $60 I feel like this was a good place that just cut it’s quality.

Very understaffed and this causes the wait time to be attended and get food to take really long. Food was very salty and expensive so definitely don’t recommend.
