Hands down the best kick back relax and enjoy good company and a fun environment in Idaho city. The food and drink menu is good and the venue regularly books music talent to entertain their guests. Performers sometimes perform indoors but The Gold Mine also has a large outdoor seating area and music stage behind the building which is what sets it apart.

The bbq and sides was probably some of the best food I’ve ever had. It hurts me to say better than Texas. Will definitely be back. Mac and cheese was some of the best I’ve ever had and the brisket dip and pit master sandwiches were incredible.

Rustic little town with history, restaurants and shops to poke around in. Good stop to stretch your legs, have a good burger. Many of the test have outdoor seating.

We stayed in the Fishing room for two nights for our anniversary. The room was spotless and cozy. We ate dinner both nights; the food was delicious and the staff was great. The owner let my husband light up the keys of the antique piano and we had a great time.

The Gold Mine is exactly the kind of Saloon we expect and hope to find in Idaho… very non-pretenscious because this place is the real deal in authentic western home style. Fantastic food, good music. Glad we found the Gold Mine. We’ll be back for Prime Rib Friday! The brisket French dip and Steve’s Famous Mac n Cheese made my day!

I would give 10 stars! I loved my cabin! The bed was extremely comfortable and I really love the smell of the cedar wood. The staff was wonderful and checked on me to see if I needed anything. Great food and enjoyed the music. I love the peaceful atmosphere of Idaho City and all the people who made me feel so welcome. I cannot express enough gratitude to all of you for making my weekend so memorable. Love and blessings. I will be back soon for another lovely visit.

Came here for lunch during a family visit to Idaho City. Atmosphere is rustic, log cabin look and feel inside. Food was delicious! Burger, French dip, pulled pork sandwich and brisket salad were all hits at our table. Service is a little slow, but there were maybe 3 other tables so that may be the normal pace. Plan to stay a while when you stop in. Looks like they have a full bar.

We stayed in a room here and were excited to eat and drink right nearby! When we checked in, we arrived into a different room than we reserved. We remember specifically not selecting this room online. After checking our reservation, we also realized we paid more for the other room. We asked for the price difference as it wasn’t a big deal, but inconvenient and not what we paid for. The keurig in the room did not work, so that was also a bummer.

Found myself stuck in this beautiful little town for the night stopped into the bar to see about grabbing a bite and a room. The bartender, a gentleman in his 30s, has some of the best recipes for mixology I have ever put to my lips. The whiskey sour he made me was not just amazing but a treat like no other, after which I just had him surprise me with what he felt like pouring and drink after drink in was beyond impressed and a little tipsy.

This is a way cool place! We rented a cabin, for one night. It was perfectly clean, it had a very nice bed and bedding. The bathroom and shower was also clean and nice. The saloon was fun, the beer was cold, the bartenders and servers were friendly and attentive, and our food was good too! We really enjoyed our time here! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
