Tried this place out at a 6:30 on Saturday night. No wait which was great. It was pretty busy by the time we left.

We loved our experience at the Gnarly Marlin. We got a spot near the window, looking out on the water. It had just rained or we would have sat outside on their gorgeous patio area.

First visit for our 14 year anniversary. Absolutely loved it. Atmosphere was nice, not too packed and a nice patio on the water to eat outside. Little bar inside with a good amount of screens to watch the fights. The Mexican shrimp cocktail was great loads of shrimp! The two of us shared but probably could have shared with our kids too. Then we got the Moo, cluck pork or something like that was delicious and burger is well done unless you specify other wise, and the other was the pork Cubano my favorite so far. Both served with fries. For desert we ordered the Malabo an ice cream and Bacardi mixture a little bland flavor was all in the fruit on top but not bad for about $8. Think next time I’d ask for a flavored Bacardi like a coconut or pineapple. The staff was wonderful everyone was helpful and working together. Overall great experience will definitely return. Appetizers, two drinks with refills, two entrées with side, and two after meal adult beverages- All under $80.

My wife loved the lobster roll, but my chicken tenders were tough, and the coleslaw was not memorable. Frankly, I would have had a better meal at Popeyes for half the price. The restaurant was clean and the food was served fast. I imagine it would be a great place to have a sundowner with your fishing buddies after a day on the water.

Went with a couple of friends here a few days ago. We immediately got seated and we were seated outside near the water which was nice, but once we ordered our food, it took over an hour for them to bring out our food along with other tables who were waiting just as long. We ordered the lobster bites as our appetizer which were pretty good, they were nice and soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside, but lacked flavor. My friend’s had a steak with mashed potatoes and fish and chips, while I got the chicken Philly sandwich with fries. The food was mid at best and just wasn’t that good. Our waitress was friendly, understanding and kind and heard our complaints and gave us our drinks free along with complimentary fries and cheesecake to make up for the bad food, which was nice as well. Out of all our meals, the worst one was my friend who ordered the fish and chips. The fish was practically drenched in grease and oil, lacked any flavor, and the batter tasted old and bad, along with the fries being cold and soggy. My other friends steak was ordered medium-well and he received an almost well-done steak with cold mash potatoes. My chicken Philly was good but the the chicken was a little dry and me having cold fries as well. The best thing we had was the cheese cake. We received 2 giant slices of cheesecake, and it was delicious and creamy like how it should be. Overall, our visit just wasn’t what we expected it to be, and maybe we came on a bad day, and it was all our first time eating there. Maybe I can give this place a second chance to redeem themselves, but I don’t think I’ll be visiting any time soon.

Beautiful views! Whereas, they’re a tad pricey, it’s worth it for a date night for sure. Enjoy a cocktail while viewing the beautiful scenery. Appetizers are definitely a must have! The Chicken Fried Steak is absolutely DELICIOUS! This Critic is most pleased with this Restaurant!

We went on a rather busy night and they were short staffed, which were kind of used to anyways now a days so that was not a problem for us. Needless to say it took a long time to get our food. Our waiter was very attentive and apologetic. Even took off half of our bill for the inconvenience. We ordered the Cuban and the Philly. The Cuban was delicious! It was very hearty on the meat and such good flavor. The Philly was good but it didn’t have a lot of meat in it.
