On our 2nd night in Falmouth, we decided to treat ourselves after a full day on the Vineyard.

We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary here, and our experience could not have been better. Everything was exquisite, from the drinks we enjoyed before our meal to the meal itself as well as dessert. For the price, it is worth the expertly-prepared food, which my wife appreciated as someone with significant food sensitivities. We will definitely be back!

A reliable go to if you feel like splurging or celebrating a special occasion. Like a well maintained dame, gleaming and well polished, the place does not show its age. As far as taste and presentation the food never disappoints.

My family and I have dined at Glass Onion numerous times over the years. Not only is this one of the best restaurants in Cape Cod, hands down, it is also one of the best restaurants I’ve ever dined at in my life. The milieu is calm, lovely, and clean. The furnishings are beautiful and thoughtful and it’s certainly a, “fine dining vibe.” The owners are the sweetest and kindest people. They are extremely welcoming, accommodating and always ensure every guest has an incredible experience.

Menu is boring – I got the fish special which was good, however if you visit you should expect a pricey cape experience – traditional American – flavored with butter and salt however presentation is nice. Beautiful interior and very nice wait staff. Just wish the menu was more inspiring. Thankful they had stripped bass and muscles (however was over salted).

Had an exceptional anniversary dinner. The filet was perfect and the Striped Bass and Mussels were 6 star. Definitely on our go again list. We arrived last minute having another reservation fall through and they accommodated us! Great place!!

Beautiful atmosphere, great food presentation… however, there are not many options to choose from for entrées (4-5 total) & 1 item was not available. Opted for a dish I didn’t really want (seafood risotto) because the dish I wanted filet mignon was out and was being substituted for another steak that was stuffed with mushrooms. I’m not a mushroom person and when I asked for the mushroom to not be a part of my steak, it was stated that they were unable to do that.

The atmosphere was very quaint. Not upscale but cute. We were given warm bread however the butter was rock hard cold so it was hard to enjoy the bread.

Making reservations for an expensive meal always comes with certain expectations. The ambiance, location and service were excellent and fun! One meal was the filet which was enjoyed immensely. The other was the seafood risotto which was very mediocre. The lobster consisted of the claw pieces which had very little buttery meat and the shrimp was hard and dry. The risotto had one piece of mushroom which was very odd. If you like getting dressed up and spending money then visit The Glass Onion. Otherwise, go eat on Main Street at the Quarterdeck where every meal was fantastic.
