We stayed here in our RV as they are a harvest host location. Since we were staying here we decided to have dinner here also.

CFS and the moo pizza is a good portion size for the price! Had an amazing waitress very attentive and provided great customer service.

I am giving this 2 stars because I had two drastically different experiences. A month or so ago I went and had a lovely experience. The food was perfect, the service attentive, and the atmosphere was so right. I went back last week and it didnt even seem like the same place. I was seated with 3 other people and all but one got their order wrong. The appetizer came out one minute before the food, and it was burned. One person ordered an appetizer for a meal, specifically requesting it to come out with everyone else’s dinner, but instead it came out first and got cold while waiting for the other meals. I ordered a pizza that came out on a gluten free crust (which I did not ask for and was not good), one didn’t get the veggies they ordered, and one was missing condiments for their burger. We got no refills for our drinks, and the drinks themselves tasted like they had been filled with salt before pouring cola into them. The atmosphere the second time was awful. There was loud horse-playing from the staff in the bar area with some unpleasant music that was turned up way too loud. One of the waitresses was very immodestly dressed in a low cut halter shirt and daisy dukes. All in all, it was uncomfortable and not a good experience. I will not be returning until things change.

We waited for more than ten minutes at the host’s counter to be greeted and seated. Nobody showed up, so we went elsewhere.

I chose this place for my birthday dinner because I had heard good things about it in the past and the menu looked good and it had my favorite dessert, bread pudding, on it. We had the onion rings for an appetizer and I had the regular sirloin. The food was good, not the best steak I ever had or anything, but good. However when we asked to order dessert, we were told that they didn’t have any dessert whatsoever because they don’t sell enough! What the heck! If you don’t have dessert, then don’t have it on the menu! Extremely disappointed.

Traveling across TX in our RV…we stopped for dinner at the Gin and Granary on our way from San Antonio to Amarillo and really got lucky! We had the two best steaks of our entire trip. The T-bone and Filet were both outstanding…only to be topped by the warm West Texas hospitality and and friendly, warm greeting we received from Randy (Executive Chef). He’s a local – born and raised – and an all around great guy. We got an insightful local history lesson on the farms and ranches in the area where the vegetables and beef at the restaurant are , all locally grown and raised. This place is outstanding all around! Find a way to make your travel plans take you to Wall, TX and the Gin and Granary for dinner. You will not be disappointed!

Was highly disappointed with this visit. My friend and I both ordered the special -steak bits w/2 vegetables. Evidently there had been several large groups during lunch. As a result, there were no baked potatoes, the salad bar was a nasty mess-we were the only ones in the place so it had been this way for a while. I ordered broccoli and verified that it was not left from lunch. When it came out it was luke-warm, floating in greasy water, over cooked and was almost yellow in color. My friend ordered the Brussels sprouts. They came with something that almost looked like bacon meal and tasted rancid. The steak was ordered medium but was served well done and was so tough it was hard to eat. During our meal, we were greeted with a flood from the kitchen. The water ran under our table and several feet into the areaa around us. There was never an attempt to mop up the nasty water around us or under our table nor was there an offer to move us to any of the many empty tables.

Great service, excellent food, and even better ambience. This is an amazing add to the San Angelo area food offerings and is a step above most with the physical layout. The food took quite a while to come out, hence the 4 stars. We will definitely be back! Enjoy/disfruta!

So we sat down, ordered food and I decided to go to the restroom before eating. They didn’t have any toilet paper. I asked a waitress to get me some tp for the bathroom and she said “oh yeah sure” before going straight to the kitchen. She never came back to the table or went towards the restrooms. Waited about 20 minutes, checking the restroom in between, then the food arrived. My buddy went to the kitchen to ask for me again and that’s when she finally decided to tell us there’s none in the restaurant. My friend found me some napkins so that situation was resolved. Once I got back to the table to eat my food that was a whole nother nightmare. My Filet was good in flavor but had horrible texture and tenderness as well as having gristle. Brussels sprouts were severely undercooked, the mac&cheese was mushy as well as gritty like there were grains in it. They barely came to check on us. Overall, not a good experience whatsoever.

Maybe it was an off night, but for a Friday there should be more than 3 employees. Bummed they got our order wrong, and served us drinks with no fizz. I heard the staff say they were out of C02 and if that was the case they should have told us and not served flat cocktails at full price… despite ordering during happy hour, and verifying happy hour since there were conflicting signs.
