I recently discovered a restaurant through TikTok that specializes in their exquisite strawberry lemon drops. The lemon drop cocktail was absolutely delightful, and I must say, the bartender provided exceptional service with their friendly and charming demeanor. If you’re looking for a recommendation, their oxtails dish is highly recommended. However, it’s worth noting that during my visit, I observed the manager carrying a baby on her hip behind the bar, which slightly deviated from the upscale atmosphere I had anticipated. This past Saturday was their first Saturday brunch event. I walked in ready to be amazed and indeed the atmosphere was cool: the music choice was great and it was at the right volume to which you’d have to compete slighty to talk to your friends around your table. Speaking of tables, the marble tables complimented the decor and the place was clean (despite the fly that kept landing on the $16 cantaloupe barcardi mojito I purchased that tasted more like salt and water so I refused to drink it and the waitress said she couldnt substitute OR remove it from my order). We came during opening. Wasn’t that busy, but it took 1hr (1hr 12mins per my homegirl but whose counting) to receive our food. My $22 salmon was dry and tough, and I had to request multiple lemon wedges to “fix” it. Upon further examination, the bottom was burnt (see pic). The potatoes were overcooked as well. The eggs were the best part . I hope they come back stronger next time because the brunches def have great potential.

So I bought oxtails for my husband and I for dinner and it was oxtail pieces mixed with rice but the picture was of full oxtails with amazing looking gravy. Second point the gravy but it’s really first was very premature meaning lumpy and it was not brown it was the color of flour, taste was not bad. But displeased I was and still am!
