We came early at 4:35pm and had a drink at the bar. We got seated and ordered the edge salad. We got a complementary crostini. OMG my husband and I split the meal. It was big like for three people. We ordered the Chef grill that came with 14 ounce Delmonico steak, 4 ounce crab cake and 6 ounce lobster tail . We had the green beans and substitute the fries for wild rice. It was delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection. My complement to the Chef. Our server was McKenzie who was great and very attentive. We took dessert home. We took the bread pudding and the hummingbird cake with fruit. Look at the pictures.

Love this place. My first time trying their Braised Short Ribs..excellent! Reminds me of my Mom’s Pot Roast (which is a big compliment) no knife needed.

While away for work I came across this restaurant and wanted to give it a try. When arrived I parked in the back. I walked in and was greeted. I sat at the bar and Joseph was my bartender and he was great. I was able to catch happy hour and ordered the pinot nior. On check in they had a free house wine so endulged in that also. I ordered my food from the happy hour menu. I ordered the spring rolls, blackened barramundi tacos, and a crab cake with broccoli. The spring rolls came out first and I didn’t particularly care for them. It was very bready so they took that off for me. I enjoyed the tacos, crab cake and broccoli very much. The bill wasn’t bad either. I had an overall good experience.

My wife and I were excited to try this restaurant for our anniversary. We were severely underwhelmed, sadly. The only bright side was my wedge salad. Barring that, the food was average for what we thought was supposed to be a higher end steakhouse. The service was mediocre at best and even worse when we consider the restaurant was not at all crowded. For example, we had to ask for our water to be refilled and not once did my server ask to refill my iced tea. The food was fair but less then expected based on the reviews we read. The short ribs tasted like a typical pot-roast and the delmomico steak didn’t have much flavor. The garlic cream spinach tasted like it was simply spinach boiled in milk. Have had far better and consistent service at Louie Prime steakhouse which is our typical go to steakhouse. We were excited to try Frogtown based on reviews, but probably will not be returning.

My wife and I were there for our Anniversary last year and are going back this year as well for our Anniversary. We both had the filet which was honestly the best we have ever had! Great selection of drinks and deserts as well. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was perfect for a nice quiet dinner to celebrate. Highly recommend and we will be back every year!

I went here with about 10 or so guys for a bachelor party and honestly was disappointed. I will start with the good, the service was too notch we got seated right away and the team helping us was polite, prompt and very accommodating. They were definitely the five star part if there was one. Kudos to them. The drinks were average, we all agreed nothing special, the one really good one we liked was the martini with blue cheese, that was solid. Now the bad…the food. This is a steakhouse and we all were couldn’t believe how bad the steaks were. Not one person’s steak came out correctly, zero. I ordered medium rare and it was literally burnt(black) to a crisp on the bottom, dried out and way over done. This was a consistent theme for everyone all the steaks were way overcooked, we all compared and no one had any red in their steaks and completely tasteless no matter what cut we had. The sides are tiny and came out cold, I had cold mushrooms and very cold spinach. Lastly when we got the bill we realized that we were given two menus with two sets of pricing. Thank God we kept the menus and noticed. As an example on one menu a bottle of wine was 60 and on the other menus the same bottle was 85. Half our table got one menu the other half got another. Of course when the bill came out we were charged the higher priced menu. Again, service was great and they were great about fixing it but how does that happen. I know this is a long review but want the owners to know the server team was great and only thing that kept it from one star as we come for the food and that was really bad. Someone needs to talk to the kitchen about how to prepare large parties.

14 first timers went last night for my wife’s Birthday. From the minute we walked in till we left we were treated like we owned the place. Our solo waitress, Danielle, was amazing. She is probably one of the best waitress’s I’ve ever had! She stayed engaged in all our different questions and got everything perfect. When we go back we will make sure she is working and she has our table! The food and drinks were excellent. There was plenty of both at our table. The bartenders and chefs are spot on! Thank you for making this a special night for my wife and all the rest of us! You have 14 return customers! Danielle thank you again! You were fantastic.

This place is the best in the area when you are looking to have a nice dinner. Drinks are great – shout out to the Frogtini (martini with blue cheese stuffed olives) and the old fashioned is delicious.
