Ordered red garlic wings, waffle fries, and a small round pie. Orange crush and cherry kiss for drinks. The drinks weren’t bad but they weren’t exactly good either. Orange crushes are supposed to be made with fresh OJ but you can tell it wasn’t. The waffle fries and cheese were really good, good flavor and nicely cooked. The wings were nice and crispy without being over cooked. Sauce was good too. The pie was ok. Wasn’t a fan of the sauce. Had a good crust but the bottom was too soggy. They had 1 guy working the bar and being a server so service was on the slow side

The Frog Pond Pub is a no-frills establishment, located on a small side street (a parking lot is readily available on the opposite side of the street) and permeates with a genuine neighborhood atmosphere. The menu is small and consists mainly of bar food — burgers, pizza, and wings, for example — but the food is worth the visit.

Had the Thursday special, wings and pizza. Was not pleased with the honey bbq sauce on the wings. We love the onion rings here.

We headed out to Frog Pond to try their highly rated wings. Tuesday is their wing nite. Each sauce required a minimum of 10 wings at 65 cents a wing. We ordered 10 wings of Bull Frog (butter, garlic parm sauce), Red Garlic (not a strong garlic flavor), Sweet N Sassy (mild stick to your fingers like honey sweet sauce). We ordered the wings extra crispy. The wings were larger than others and they cooked them perfectly extra crispy. The bull frog wings were the best in my opinion. Moving on….I tried their Sicilian pizza which is sold by the cut. I didn’t quite understand it but if you order 1 cut…it’s divided into 2 cuts. If you ordered 2 cuts then it would be divided into 4 and so on. I asked with onion. The pizza is pretty interesting. It’s doughy, cheesy and had a nice flavor that I was trying to figure out. Their pizza is like a person that you aren’t so sure about at first and then they actually grow on you.

Tasty pizza and friendly folks! I’ve already visited the Frog Pond twice in the last couple months, and it’s been a consistently good experience. This past time was just a few days ago. My wife and I brought another couple with us, and we split a large pizza with extra cheese, garlic, onions, sweet peppers, and tomatoes. Delicious! Our server was the same friendly server as we had the previous time. She has a good sense of humor and keeps the current lengthy beer list memorized.

Service was ok. Very hard to keep the waitresses attention sadly. We had to speed talk and I never got a refill on my drink. She would walk away while we were still talking to her. But atleast she had some manners. I had the Buffalo bite salad, I was pretty disgusted. The tomatoes tasted like plastic and the wing sauce was just unflavorful. I honestly could’ve made it at home better. I pounded blue cheese dressing on it to make it somewhat edible. I most likely will not ever return.

Not just a little hole in the wall. But a diamond in the rough. Good food and service I was surprised.
