I’m in between 3 and 4 stars but I’ll give 4 because the place was clean and the staff was friendly. The food was okay though. The pictures give it more justice. The orange juice was definitely freshly squeezed though. One of the only places I’ve been to where I can genuinely say that. The breakfast sandwich on the baguette and the croissant sandwich were okay but they lacked flavor. The salad served with it was disappointing. Lettuce, tomato, and red onion in a small bowl felt more like a half a side salad. The crepe had good flavor but the crepe itself was rubbery. It seemed like a thin tortilla instead of thin pancake.

I really, really wanted to give the cafe a better score. The service was great & the employees were friendly. The breakfast crepe was good & presented nicely but it was lacking in moisture & flavor. A small amount of creme fraiche or lemon (or chive) butter would have really elevated the crepe. The Nutella beignet was delicious. The coffee, while good, was on the cold side. This might be nitpicking but the forks are really narrow & made it very difficult to get more than a nibble at a time. I’d be willing to give it another chance though as I’m in the area every week. Hopefully my second visit will be better than this one.

Went for breakfast and it was great. Food and coffee were fresh and delicious. OJ was great and fresh squeezed (or at least tasted that way). Staff was friendly. Nice set up inside and tables outside for dining as well. Some things take a little longer to cool and food was coming out as it was ready, but we didn’t mind!

Aline makes the BEST matcha lavender iced latte in the world. Go get it and thank me later! Try half oat milk half skim and light syrup/sugar and you will be so delighted. I tried this place for the first time 2 weeks ago, thought about the latte for 2 weeks (it was that good), just returned and Aline remembered me, and made it even better the 2nd time around!

I work from home, and this is one of my favorite places to hang out while working. I’m here so much that the owners and workers know me. I have tried a lot of items, and the different pastries are awesome. The pastries are freshly made daily. The African Solstice tea is awesome. Everyone is super nice. Ask for Brittany who has become my chit chat friend. I talk to everyone so much that it feels like Cheers where everyone knows your name. They also have a location in Hamlin.
