Went for lunch today, nice clean place,great menu. Had the chick parm. And brought home a sandwich for my wife. All orders were followed and food perfect. The red sauce is super ! Only thing that needs an upgrade is the cheap napkins . Met the owner leo and he seems to be on point for a new restaurant. Good luck to them

Not only is this place adorable inside and out, the staff and service is great, and the food is delicious! My husband and I love cheese fries. I personally love them loaded with all kinds of things and he is more of a bacon and cheese fries with ranch guy. We saw PIZZA FRIES one the menu and obviously wanted to try them. The description said cheese and bacon which we had been expecting actual pizza topping on fries by the name of it. We both opted to order them for our meal and we were blown away by how good they were. Most places use a bacon bit or crispy bacon pieces for their fries and they used a more juicy soft or bigger pieces of bacon which made a big difference. They used mozzarella cheese instead of the typical cheddar cheese, my taste buds were in awe! I am already wanting to come back for more before we head home to TX! The kids loved their cheese pizza and BBQ boneless wings also! Sweet tea was amazing and not too sweet!

Dinner was pretty good for a while there but recently they started doing lunch during the week. The worst experience in a restaurant in my life. I have gotten food to go 3 times. Each time wait staff was rude, nobody showed any care and what we were doing. Never asked if we needed extra things or plastic silverware. Made me talk to them while they multi task it. Got home and the food was the worst in my life undercooked french fries still frozen in the middle cheeseburgers burnt to a bloody crisp food spilled all over itself given a hard time charge fracture items that they didn’t know where on the one page menu there’s about 4 items on this menu for lunch and you didn’t know that the kids menu came with the side and a drink. I will never waste $20 on a kids cheeseburger again. We went there expecting gourmet food and the new venue down the street has McDonalds prices but Ruth Chris towel food and that’s where we will keep our business.

I don’t know what has happened to Ford’s but my wife and myself decided to celebrate our 11th anniversary here and it was a total disappointment, The salad was the only thing good, My wife ordered chicken pasta and a baked potato, I ordered the Rib-eye steak, When the waitress brought it out I knew we were in trouble, Hers was right out of the microwave and no matter how you dress it up you can’t cook a sirloin steak and call it a rib-eye, and it was well done and cold, I ordered it med. We will not be back and it hurts to say because this is a one of a kind place that we loved !

Beautiful 1920’s art deco upstairs and awesome Ford throwback bar downstairs. Had potato skins (delish) whiskey burger (yum) and hubby enjoyed the shrimp lunch special. Great wait staff. Enjoyed our afternoon in all the quaint little shops and history of Mt. Gilead
