No fancy recipes but simple American inspired cooking! Portions are rather smallish compared to usual “Great American sizes”. Has the golf ⛳️ course to ponder on while awaiting for food to arrive. Very hardworking staff at the tables.

I’m so impressed with this place. They are casual and friendly restaurants for Millennials even they don’t look that way. They have basic cocktails and simple menu but it’s a lovely dinner spot after long day on the beach.

I love this place. Went there for lunch on the way back to Dering Harbor from Sunset Beach on an incredibly hot day. Sat on a beautiful porch at the top of the hill /golf course, and enjoyed some very good fish tacos with a beautiful view and lovely breeze. Give it a try!

Service was excellent once I sat at table. Grilled chicken sandwich was very good. My only complaint (not that bad) was I stood around for a while before I was told to sit anywhere. I would recommend for lunch.

There is nothing like dinner on the covered porch during the warmer months. The menu changes often and the distant water views cannot be beat. Always friendly and always easy and fun. I do wish they offered a local wine choice but they do offer some great local beers.

Showed up on a Monday night around 6:00, the place was quarter full. My wife ask the white haired woman a question and she couldn’t have been more rude then the old man was a jerk as well. I’d give zero stars but you can’t post without at least one.

Views are beautiful and serene from this restaurant situated on a golf course atop of a hill. Food was a mixed bag. Had beet salad and crabcakes which were excellent. My partner had pasta dish that she sent back. Had steak instead which was ok. Her string beans were hard and not cooked properly. Service was great and professional. Had desserts which also very good. Definitely worth a visit when visiting Shelter Island.

Out of this world. The owner was so pleasant and he gave up his table to a couple of motorcycle riders. So quiet. Food was excellent. Views from the gazebo cant be beat. My wifes beet and goat cheese salad was spot on. My Cioppino was out of this world. Just get lots of napkins and a bib. We will be back.
