BY FAR the best burgers in Marshalltown. I would go as far as to say these are the best burgers in Iowa! I have been looking for a delicious, consistent lunch spot and this is it! If you don’t believe me try the “real american”. It is a VERY traditional VERY delicious burger. I usually save half of my lunch for my husband but….he hasn’t tried it yet

I was passing through town and decided to check this place out and I’m glad I did. The food was excellent and had a decent craft beer selection. The bartender was super friendly and helpful in making a choice. I went with the Nacho Man Hot Dog and a side of Chili with Cheese, Onions and Chili-Cheese Fritos. So good. I’ll definitely be back.

As the 2022 Iowa’s best burger winner, i had high expectations. The burger was good as expected. The patty was pretty thin and made me wish i had ordered the double. And too many toppings offsets the burger flavor. So i would recommend, just get a pain one if you want to taste it. The restaurant is fairly small and first come first serve seating. Had a short wait for a Saturday lunch. If you couldn’t tell from the name, it has a lot of wrestling theme decorations.

Walked in and took a seat at the bar, watched some Smackdown from 2003 or so. The guys next to me obviously weren’t wrestling fans as they only had sarcastic comments to throw out about the matches on TV. That’s ok though, the atmosphere isn’t for them. It’s for wrestling fans who appreciate it! I got the Tombstone with an extra patty and the Vader tots. The only thing I would change is getting ranch with the tots as ketchup was kind of an odd choice. Service was great, had a couple pints and my bill was reasonable for as much food as I got and the beers. Will definitely make a trip back up just to come here again!

Not to be missed! Heard it was best burger in Iowa & found it worthy of all accolades! The sauces and combos are spot on. Prices are surprisingly reasonable for scratch entrees. Every aspect of my burger was spot on. Ambiance was nice…just a great spot that really rocked my world. I had the bang bang with tots.

This place is a must visit. The staff are incredibly nice, helpful and patient. Despite the crowd, they took the time to speak to us and explain the menu to us. Also helped us out with recommendations. The bartender helped me pick out a good local beer, too.

I was super excited to try this place out being a wrestling fan for 30+ years!! Wanted to try the Piper’s Pit they posted 3 days ago but they were out (I get it) but had no idea what to order and the menu was a tad confusing.. ended up getting the 3:16 grilled cheese. Toast was soggy in some spots and crispy in the other.. for a $17 burger I expected more. Fries were solid though! Wife got the loaded fries and wasn’t impressed, kiddo got the Cheeto Mac n cheese and was as expected. The atmosphere is cool! The food needs more attention in my opinion. VERY little seating is a problem though.. Probably not worth an hour+ drive to go back, but never know..

We had the pleasure of meeting the owner when we stopped in for dinner tonight, and he talked to us about the business, beer, and burgers. There’s a reason why this place won best burger last year and best pulled pork this year, all of the food is amazing, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. We drove 45 minutes to get here, and will be back for sure
