Ordered 2 types of spicy wings and sweet potato fries. The wings were dry, barely sauced, bland, and not spicy at all. The sweet potato fries were burnt, soggy, and just plain inedible. I stopped eating the entire meal after 3 wings and 2 fries and threw it in the trash. Also the prices on the online menu are very outdated, the wings were $14 on the online menu and $18.50 in reality. $18.50 for the worst wings I have ever eaten…. The only reason I gave 2 stars is that my wife said the Aloha Chicken Sandwich was good, but her sweet potato fries were also inedible. This will be our last trip to this restaurant.

First visit to The Flat, and we’ll be back. Loved the vibe as we walked in. Decor is a comfy, welcoming, upscale feel. Service was good, food was amazing, and loved the food & drink specials written on the huge chalkboard wall. Menu offers plenty of options and all very original and eclectic.

This is an unexpected favorite for me in Greenville! Food is great (I’m partial to the Flat salad and fried pickles), and drink options are even better! They have every choice of liquor, fun seasonal cocktails, and great rotation of beers on tap. The vibe is standard sports bar with TVs and large bar, and it’s pretty spacious and very clean (including bathrooms!). Service is also very friendly and attentive but knows when to leave you be. Always a great place to see locals and regulars. My boyfriend and I visit regularly and always bring our friends when we have a chance.

Great service, amazing food, and beer, what more could you ask for in a good local bar. I stopped in for lunch today with my husband. We both ordered burgers which in my opinion are what they do best. We grabbed some fried pickles as well, don’t let the color fool you, they are amazing. The habanero ranch is so good and packs a punch with the spice. My husband ordered The Good Habit with onion rings. He added bacon and loved it. I got the Red and Blue burger which was really good but I had a hard time finishing it just because of the spice level. So beware! This one is definitely spicy.

This was my first visit, everything was good and the guy bartending/waiting tables was top notch. Beware of the wrong prices, the menu said market price and it ended up being 12 wings for $20. I was a little shocked at that but they were pretty good and like I said everything else was awesome. Check out the lunch menu, lots of items for $11.
