The food …I’m not even sure I can articulate how awful it was. It seemed impossible that a burger place could make the burgers we were served. I was hoping to experience a great burger ..I had been wanting to check this place out for a while and then ….I was served a burger that didn’t have any moisture left in it….the cheese was burnt black all around the edges. It was inedible. I’m hoping this was an isolated incident.

Early dinner with my adult son taking me out, the restaurant is spotless, all of the staff were polite and smiling. Our drinks came out fresh and cold and our food was hot and delicious. The price point was excellent, quality of service, food and drinks were outstanding.

The reason I have Fix Burger Bar a medium rating is based on server experience and food. Reservation was no problem and atmosphere was good. However that’s where it ends. My wife and I were sat at a booth within the bar area and a male bartender gave us waters and took our drink order. But commented that “someone will be with you…eventually.” A female bartender came over with a handled table to take our order and since we had waited a little time we put our full appetizer and entree orders in. Appetizer came out fast and not too long after so did the meals. We instantly noticed they got the meat temperatures we requested swapped on our burgers. But also I was so disappointed in the size I’d the patties. The buns were huge and toppings of our “Crunchy” and “Bigger Mac” took up more space than the meat itself. It doesn’t help that the website has edge to edge meat pictures and I get less than that. I would have said something to our waitress but she never came back. I had to walk up to the bar to ask for the check. Everything from food to service was okay at best. I’d like to give it another chance but don’t think it’s very likely.

The only reason it got four stars instead of 5 is because the place needs some love. The front bluestone treads are absolutely falling apart and they have 2×4’s holding them up. The floor was a little dirty and we had flies dive bombing us the whole time. Having said all of that the food was phenomenal. They have so many different ways that you can customize your burgers with all different types of meet and every topping/ sauce that you can think of. I had a classic cheese burger and fries. Everything was hot and fresh, the fries were perfect. If you do not indulge in one of their milkshakes I feel sorry for you. I had the Oreo milkshake and it was magical. The service was fantastic they dont hound you but they also dont disappear for 20 minutes either. They are on top of their game. I didn’t sit at the bar but there drink list and beer on tap is very impressive.There is plenty of parking as well. Overall worth it. ENJOY

This place is fabulous burgers. They are great to eat-in or get as takeout. The burgers are fresh and delicious, and the portions are generous – especially the fries. I would say if you are STARVING you could probably finish your burger plus the fries, but if you aren’t super hungry, then it would be reasonable to split with someone. They get very busy for dinner, especially Friday nights, but they have a ton of seating- and usually availability for lunch. If you are driving by this place, it is 100% worth the stop.

Whoever is letting the 20 year old girls take the aux have to stop. Some of the worst music Ive ever heard anywhere. Secondly you’d think a place that only does burgers could figure out how to cook them properly. Asked for medium and got borderline raw chuck. Just brutal. Would probably never go back.
