May 26, 2023, 3rd visit… Friday night, small crowd so we got our food quick! Ordered the 14oz steak and 3 sides. Perfectly cooked, with tots, green beans and Mac and cheese. Couldn’t have asked for better food or service. Everything was great!

I love little Mom and Pop style places and you can tell this place is just getting started currently but let me just say I believe whole heartedly this place will be a hot commodity down the road. We each had Catfish with 1 side and fried green tomatoes as the appetizer. I’ll say the Fired Squash I had was some of the best I’ve ever had it was awesome!

I ordered a hamburger steak with gravy and onions. The hamburger was excellent! So much flavor. The gravy, I had to scoop it off, there was too much of it, and it was very thick and tasted as if it came out of a can. We were the last ones out that evening. Overall, I thought it was fine and I would visit again.

Ate here on Sunday afternoon. Food, wait staff and price were excellent. Enjoyed everything. I had the days special (Chicken and dumplings) they were delicious. Our entire family loved their meals. We are planning a return visit. I highly recommend this place.

The portion size was excellent. Hamburger steak gravy and onions had good taste, the coleslaw although too soggy was edible. The fish, steak, fries, baked beans were horribleThe amount of salt used was off the chain. The baked beans were so liquefied there was very few beans in the portion. We threw most of it out. My delicate stomach was sick the rest of the night. The only meal I attempted to eat that day. I’m sure these are good people. Someone please wrestle that salt shaker from the cook. And shape up the sides. Will be awhile and reading many more reviews before we attempt this again. Too bad. I wanted it to be as good as the last one in this place.

It was a great place to eat, I had a omelet that was great, and the waitress was awesome and checked often to see if I needed anything. The place was really clean and felt like home. I will be going there regularly best place to eat.

Let me just start with saying but the food was very good. However… We came in they treated us very nice very friendly took us too a table took our drink order. I ordered a hamburger steak plate, I thought well for $15 it should be GREAT! They brought my food and I thought it was a mistake… It was a hamburger patty… And not a large hamburger either. I asked the server, is this a hamburger steak? She said yes. I was at a lose for words and that’s rare for me. I just said ok and she said the kitchen staff were new to the business and weren’t good with judging the size of the patties yet. I thought well obviously not! She said our bill would be reduced. When I paid they discounted $1 for me and $1 for my wife. Not what I expected…. I left a bigger tip than the discount was. LOL. That’s the first time in a long time that I’ve paid $15 for a meal and left hungry!!! And Angry!!!

My mother suggested I eat here, so I gave it a try. I ordered the all American burger, and let me just say, definitely not the way to go. The burger was extremely over cooked, dry, and tasteless. The service was decent, the atmosphere was nice, but my first impression of the food was awful. I can’t see recommending this restaurant as a place to eat at the moment, maybe with some more time and kinks being worked out, it will improve.

They really screwed up our order … only 1 waitress working, but they only had 4 total tables to serve. My wife only got half of what she ordered – the other half arrived well after we were done eating, and the cashier didn’t remove those items from our bill despite the waitress saying she would.
