Great little place to eat. I had a White Cosmo(s)? and a Farmer’s Daughter drink. They were both very good, although the Farmer’s Daughter drink had an artificial spearmint flavoring that i picked up. Maybe it was my taste buds but it didn’t taste like muddled spearmint leaf in the drink. That’s why I tried a different drink the second time. At any rate, i did enjoy the drinks. We also had the cheese and sausage platter, the brisket nachos and the shrimp and grits. The shrimp and grits are not your momma’s plain S&G. They were fancy with greens and bacon and very large shrimp. It was delicious, everything was delicious and the service was good, too. I was too full to try any desserts There is a place behind the restaurant that has live music on certain nights, some play areas from children, an open bar and other things. Nice little area to hang out for a bit. Also, there is limited parking in front of the restaurant. On Sat, the day we went (around 5:30 or 6 pm), we parked across the street. There is a sign that the manager(?) was putting up at the business across the street when we arrived. We parked there with no issues.

Fantastic meal! The catfish, burger, and chicken tostata were on point, and the brisket nachos and vanilla shrimp were amazing. The Memphis Manhattan was DELISH! Service was spectacular.

The has become one of my favorite restaurants in Memphis! All of the dishes here are amazing and the greens and mac n’ cheese is by far the best I’ve had ever at a restaurant. You can taste the love put into every dish. Service is fantastic as well! Can not wait to come back!

I’ll stray off by saying the drinks were PERFECT! The bartender knows exactly what she is doing. The atmosphere was pretty chill and COLD (a light jacket is recommended). The waitress and host was very nice and attentive. The food was seasoned perfectly. Very fresh tasting food with just enough seasoning which surprised me We haven’t checked out the game/lounge area but we will soon. Thanks for the well seasoned food and great service

Food was excellent. I highly recommend the Banh mi sandwich. The bread comes from New Orleans and it is amazing. Veggies were good, I loved the grits. Cocktails are yummy. I would go eat there again and again.

Phenomenal chef that takes pride in his craft. Mac Edwards has outdone himself. He is the mad scientist of Chefs and has created some outstanding dishes with unbelievable flavors. The pot roast was juicy and tender, Mac n cheese was made from scratch. The cheese grits combined with a burger made our taste buds explode. Make a reservation and try some amazing cuisine, right here in Memphis.

Excellent service and very good food. We wanted a nice meal but not expensive and pretty casual and this fit the bill. Loved the catfish, and the broccolini side was so good. Definitely recommend.

Cozy lunch spot! Enjoyed the food, and the service was great too. The bartender, Ro, made us a special mock-tail that was fabulous!

Wow, what a breath of fresh air in Memphis. So glad this place reopened, enjoyed dinner during their soft opening this past week. After experiencing awful service and blatant discrimination at a well known spot across the street, this place could not be more perfect. Had reservations, appreciated that the host offered both booth and table seating – a level of courtesy not shown at many places these days. We enjoyed the vanilla shrimp with sweet grit cakes soaked in coconut milk, yummy and savory, so unexpected. And the star of the show, the Gibson donut bread pudding! Without hesitation, the best bread pudding we have ever had – so light and slightly crispy, not soggy. It’s also somehow custardy in some spots but not overwhelming. And yes, sourced from the famous Gibsons Donuts – you read that right! The cocktails were so tempting, well done. Farmers Daughter was amazing, wished it were served in a larger glass haha. Love that this place has big screens with good games on, but also has booths and an open layout with a refined ambience, yet still cozy. Talon took great care of us, all staff were professional. Stay tuned for extended hours coming shortly.
