Farish House has always been a delightful dinner addition to downtown Phoenix, in a charming 1899 bungalow off 3rd Street. Their charcuterie board, their mains, all delightful.

We were celebrating a birthday here. The environment is unique and eclectic but warm and welcoming. The decor alone is intriguing. The food was excellent and served beautifully. Service was attentive and friendly. I recommend this restaurant for any occasion but especially for those special ones. There is seating both inside and out.

Can’t say enough good things about the place. The staff were wonderful, the food was delicious, the jazz trio was fun and talented, the ambiance was unique, quaint, cozy. Perfect spot for my birthday dinner. Thanks so much for a lovely evening, can’t wait to go back. 🙂

This is a cozy little secret downtown that we enjoyed thoroughly. Being small (a former residence), it’s a bit cramped, but not uncomfortably so. My brother-in-law said it was the best steak he’d had in his life. There is also a wine menu with some interesting blends – if only I hadn’t been driving! Just a caution: it is downtown, and we we lucky enough to find parking just behind the building, which is good because I don’t know where else we could have parked. Our wait-person was very professional and really seemed as if she enjoyed serving us.

My experience at Farish House Restaurant was truly delightful. As a cozy, family-owned bistro, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We started with two superbly crafted cocktails, the Manhattan and Old Fashioned, accompanied by delicious olives as appetizers. The simplicity of the side salads didn’t compromise on taste, and the fish of the day served over lentils and fresh asparagus was a culinary delight. The combination of excellent drinks, delightful dishes, and the restaurant’s welcoming ambiance makes Farish House a must-visit gem in the heart of the city. The rating would have been 5 stars if service wasn’t interrupted by a staff meeting in the middle of our dinner….

LOVED this place! The food was so fresh and delicious. Went with a friend who is GF and dairy free and I’m a pescatarian. The waitress was very accommodating and helpful with our diet restrictions. We went for dinner with reservations and several food items were not available and our server spoke with the chefs to get us something amazing! The ambiance was so fun and I will be back! 🙂

Was able to snag a reservation on one of the busiest weekends during (Waste Management and Super Bowl weekend) and this restaurant was a hit with our entire group! From the cocktails and wine, to the iberico dates, homemade butter, melt in your mouth short-rib, and bread pudding + tirimisu to die for – we could not have asked for a better dining experience! OH and there was live jazz!! ✨

The Farish house is a five star experience. The setting is in an old Phoenix home in the downtown area. It happens to be next door to Songbird café.
