Enjoyed the beef and hummus shawarma. The chips and drinks were also really good. The shawarma had very generous portions of meat and the flavor was tasteful.

12/10 EAT HERE!!!! I just had the most amazing lunch at Falafel House. I needed a lunch spot close to Sourland Mountain Preserve that was dog friendly and this place was perfect. They had outdoor seating that accommodated everyone AND they even brought out a bowl of water for the doggos. Besides being in a great location and so very kind, the food is AMAZING! Everything on the plates were delicious and beautiful. I had the beef shawarma and my friend had the vegetarian mix platter. Next time, I’m trying the Turkish Delight! Thank you Falafel House for everything!

Sooooooo happy I decided to check this place out! I’m Syrian so it’s very hard to find a middle eastern restaurant that I would call authentic. This place brought me home! I felt like my mom was making the food! Everything from the soft, warm, fresh pita, the tender, juicy lamb gryo, to the tahini was so good! My husband had the shrimp and chicken gryo platter and finished every bite! My daughter had the chicken kabob plate and the chicken was super tender and full of flavor! The coffee also made me feel like I was home! So grateful to have found this gem. To top it off I got a chance to talk to a family that was there also from the Middle East that reminded me of my family dynamic, which made me feel even more at home! This is one of those small little gems that make the best type of home made food! I will be back every chance i get when I come visit Jersey!

I was in the mood for a falafel, so I googled a restaurant in the Hillsborough area and this one came up. I called and placed an order and the person was very friendly. Picked up the order and asked about the delicious-looking desserts and met the owner as well. They do not use chickpeas in their falafels and the taste was amazing. The pita bread was also thick, warm and tasty. I’ll definitely be back but will also grab a delicious dessert next time. The inside of the restaurant is decorated very nicely, and you have the option of eating inside or sitting at the single table outside.

Al is the best! Great food, great service, great atmosphere! Try the homemade spicy chips. They are to die for! Al even sells beautiful Art handmade with love. I bought two gorgeous pieces that look amazing in my cute apartment.

Happy to find this place during a work trip. Owner was polite and very helpful. The food was delicious, I would highly recommend this place. Local artwork is displayed on the walls for sale. What a great way to help out those in the art community.

Delicious Egyptian- style Middle Eastern food. Although the food names are the same, the taste is somewhat different from the Lebanese-style food that’s most common in this area. Also, the restaurant itself is like an eclectic art gallery/museum store with all kinds of things for sale. A real find in an innocuous strip mall.

Great middle eastern food. Got the meat platter with a sample of all the meats and every one of them was good. It was all tender, juicy, and flavorful. Rice tasted great too. Service was fast although you had to wait a bit to get your food since they make it all fresh. They have this au jus sauce that comes with the meat that is phenomenal. Atmosphere is fun. Definitely unique.
