Gorgeous new restaurant located on the beautiful Mag Mile. I love that this place gives casual dining an upscale vibe. It was slightly hard to find (located above Men’s Warehouse), but worth the search. I also liked that we were able to pick ‘Michigan Ave view’ seating. I didn’t particularly enjoy being seated next to where all the servers were constantly having to grab plates and etc from though.

We’ve been twice so far, both times were excellent: first time last week we got the grouper sandwich, prime rib dip sandwich, and chili salmon. All were excellent. We also got the watermelon salad to share which was good but could have used more feta, pistachios, etc. The toppings were a bit scarce. The decor and ambiance are beautiful. Tonight we sat at the bar and got sushi. The pressed Osaka sushi was phenomenal, very clean & simple. The Red Dragon roll was good but not mind blowing. Will definitely be back!

Evan was our energetic host who immediately greeted us upon arriving. Beautiful cozy restaurant with a great simple menu. Service is really great. Morgan was our attentive server and was always looking after us. Wife has the filet and it was cooked to perfection. I had the Osaka sushi. It’s a great hidden gem above Michigan Ave with great views.

The food was amazing! The sauce from the mussels and clams was so delicious I had to order more bread! I’ve never had a Lobster roll so buttery before – and to top it off the service from Shai was 5 star, she gave great recommendations including that Mag Mile Martini that the talented bartender Lerin made – will definitely be back!

4 ⭐️ / Reserved a late lunch table a couple weeks after opening. Hostess mentioned they still had some of the favorite Bandera dishes. Friendly and attentive service, had the Thai salad with added chicken and glass of wine, sushi also unexpected on the menu and a bit $4-5 overpriced, and not location justified.

My wife and I took our moms out for a downtown Chicago dinner nite, and decided on The Evie. Zero regrets!!! We started off with some sushi and a bucket of mussels/clams, all of which was tasty beyond belief. For main dishes we tried a mix of the ribeye steak, the prime rib dip, the lobster roll, and the Evie Classic Burger. W-O-W is all we can say. Paired with amazing cocktails off their handcrafted menu, the evening satisfied everyone at the table in taste and service alike. Dessert was the homemade bread pudding and… it was to die for – just TRY IT! As one of the newest restaurants on the Mag Mile, this has become an instant MUST RETURN AGAIN for our family. If going for dinner, ask for Alyssa — she absolutely rocks at her job and will make your dinner date shine 🙂

One of the best places I’ve tried in years! We ordered several different entrees to split them among the table and everything we tried was delicious. The fish sandwich was a favorite with the lobster roll being a close second. The Yuzu Sour and Old Fashioned were great choices from the drink menu.

I decided to go to the bar at Evie on Sunday and I must say, it was a great decision. I ordered sushi to start and then a char-grilled steak. The bartender, Lerin recommended wines that I should pair with my steak and let me sample some before choosing. I ended up going with her choice and the pairing flawless. If you’re looking for grade A customer service go to the bar and see Lerin. The atmosphere in this restaurant is second to none

Had a very good experience at this new Michigan Ave restaurant. The service was exceptional. Everyone there was welcoming and friendly, and our server Jack (I think that’s his name) was awesome! The lobster sushi, which we had as an appetizer, was delicious and the flavor profile of everything else was spot on. I took a star away because I personally don’t like it when a “finer” restaurant charges $5 for bread service. The atmosphere is dark, and good for an intimate meal, but was perhaps a bit too sedate for me, though the acoustics are excellent. I do look forward to going back!
