Expensive but I think it’s definitely worth it. The antipasti was very good and I enjoyed the deserts too. Very authentic taste and the outdoor dining patio is great. I also like the bread and butter too. In my opinion the best Italian restaurant you can find in the area.

I have been a patron of Espositos since coming here as a kid. Every July 4th, we come here for dinner and then watch the fireworks that is done at the high school behind them. A family tradition at a family restaurant that has been owned by the same people since the start. We appreciate the true Italian cuisine as Italians ourselves. I love the seafood pasta and their fried mozzarella. We are regulars and will be regulars forever!

Three of us ate at The Espositos. We sat in the tented patio on a pleasant night. I had the clams in wine sauce served with homemade pasta. It was very tasty using fresh clams in their shells. The service was excellent. Maria the owner stopped at our table to say hello. I learned that she founded the restaurant in 1988. A restaurant that has thrived for 35 years is a strong indication of its high quality.

I was very impressed with my experience here. It was nostalgic of growing up in long island and going to a family owned Italian restaurant. Checkered tablecloths, sweet service and amazing food. We had the fried calamari, pizza and lasagna and everything was so good. I have to say I can’t remember the last time I had a lasagna that I enjoyed that much. Well definitely be adding this gem to out list of regular restaurant spots.

Great service and friendly staff, cool atmosphere and the place was packed. The food was just ok. Batter on chicken tasted off not seasoned well. Roasted chicken salad had 2 croutons and a teeny tiny amount of cheese. No need to go back, not worth the price the food quality was like Panera Bread.

Espositos is my favorite Italian restaurant in the entire Commonwealth of Virginia! Maria and her team of professionals are dynamic, friendly, and knowledgeable! They recommend the right choices from their delicious menu to fit the taste of every dining party. My favorites on their menu include the rack of lamb, the spinach and parmesean salad, and the eggplant rigatoni. Last but certainly not least, Espositos’ pizza is phenomenal! It is some of the best that I have tasted outside the 5 Boroughs of NYC. For an authentic Italian meal, with a mix of both northern and southern Italian cuisine, please check out Espositos! Have been here a few times for dine-in and take-out and it never disappoints. Food and staff are fabulous. When I do take-out I always arrive before the food is ready so I can enjoy a nice glass of Chianti. If you’re in the mood for italian don’t pass up on this gem!
