If not for my eye appointment in Simi Valley, I wouldn’t have found this gem of a place. My husband and I shared our plates, his all-time favorite New York Steak and Eggs and my Crabcake Benedict, one of their house specialties. I even ordered a Crabcake Benedict to-go for my hungry daughter waiting at home! Well-prepared, sumptuous and delightful brunch! The servers regularly checked in with us on how we’re doing. Just nice and hardworking people who value their work and their clients. Thank you, The Egg House. Two thumbs up for the great food and the quality service!

Food was really good but the service was horrible. Wasn’t that busy but waiter never came back to see if I needed anything. I had to get cream for my coffee from an empty table. Had to ask the Host for a box when I was done. Sat another several minutes and Finally had to ask for my check. If ai decide to spend my money here again, I will get it to go. Thumbs down for dining in Can’t imagine what it would be like if it were actually busy.

I don’t know who’s cooking back there, but I think it’s magical elves! The menu was diverse. We got Swedish pancakes, and they were the best we ever had. It was served with lingonberries and butter as it should be. The bacon was crisp but not burnt. The scrambled eggs were flufffy. They also have the only two hot sauces that matter…Chulul and Tapatio. The services was amazing. We had water and coffee within a minute. They even brought some coffee cake, which was good. We are coming back tomorrow for sure!!

Cute, homey, hearty. $15 will fill your belly with fresh homemade goodness! Coffee flows freely. My plate was served quickly and the food was HOT and tasty. Two pieces of warm coffee cake drizzled with sugary frosting was served alongside my coffee – what an unexpected treat!

Came here after looking around for a breakfast spot near me. Definitely was not disappointed. All of the severs were friendly and food was delivered very quick. I ordered the enchiladas omlette. Absolutely amazing! Coffee was so so, not good and not bad.

First, let me just say that if you leave a negative review about your experience at this place, the owner himself will reply with a passive aggressive, sarcastic remark. No kidding. He did it to me and to another female customer who left a review (and hers was less harsh.) Instead of addressing the negative experience with professionalism, actual customer service, and a desire to fix things, he chose to respond with negativity. Tells you all you need to know about this establishment. However, let me explain more. The food was bland, our server was dirty (he sneezed into his hands, looked at me like I was in the wrong for seeing he did that, and didn’t wash them afterward. We all lost our appetite after that and wanted to get out of there.) He then proceeded to sit at a table with people he knew during his shift, hugging them and all before continuing to serve food to other customers. Then, a random customer walked into the KITCHEN to help himself to complimentary coffee cakes that were on a tray and then helped himself to a cup of coffee. Who knows where his hands have been as well. By the way, these complimentary coffee cakes are the first thing served to customers when they are seated at a table. I’ll be sure to tell everyone I know not to support this place. And I’m sure the owner will come after me on this review site as well.
