tried the $13 grilled and breaded tenderloins at the edge in Anderson tonight. very disappointing for the most expensive tenderloin in Anderson. they were thick like I like them but they didn’t trim the fat or the gristle some bits were just inedible. the grilled tenderloin tasted like beef, so somebody didn’t clean off the grill before they cooked it. the lettuce was wilted so we didn’t eat that the tomatoes were way past their prime and disintegrated so we scraped those off. the bun fell apart. they got our order wrong. we ordered lettuce and tomato on both and got lettuce and tomato and onions on one and lettuce and onions on the other. the onion rings would have been good if they’ve been crispy. french fries no seasoning but that’s fine we added a little salt and they were pretty good. everything stuck in styrofoam rather than something compostable. if you want a good golf course tenderloin then it’s the 1925 pub house not Edgewood.

Went here on 9/29/22. Waited 8 minutes before we seen any workers to seat us. Waitress took order. Our regular food came out before our appetizers. We got ribeye, which it looked and tasted like a sirloin. Also got salad wedge, that looked pathetic!! Then the appetizer which was stuffed mushrooms was nasty! They received a well deserved 2 overall. Won’t be back.

On the hunt for a tenderloin today I have ventured to The Edge. They offered a juicy piece of white pork breaded, topped with lettuce, mayo, and tomato placed on a bun. The tenderloin itself hangs off the bun showing off its size while also offering a nice thickness. Flavor of the meat is rich while the breading offers a hint of saltiness. My choice of side with it is a twice baked potato which offered its own creamy rich flavor.

Do you want the best tenderloin in town? Come to Edgewood Golf Club. The golf club, restaurant, and event center is now open to the public, it is no longer a private club. The pool is open ($5 a day), the bar is open, the food and banquet center are very affordable.

Beautifully decorated all year around – but especially Christmas.

4 dollar margaritas that taste wayyy better than the ones you get at any Mexican restaurant. The fresh bread is amazing! It takes a minute to get your food. But it is cooked to perfection. The salmon was cooked perfectly although they removed the skin that is a big no for me. Cheese quesadilla is great and the chicken tenders were decent, very crispy and great flavor. The only cons were the fries that were really cold. Coleslaw seasoned to perfection as the broccoli salad. The desserts look good.

A great place to take the kids to swim and eat. Call ahead to make sure pool isn’t reserved for private events.

cool i guess, if you like being fed raw chicken, getting a $15 discount, and no management coming out to explain/apologize.
