The East Coast Pizza Company is a Pizza joint located almost smack dab in the middle of Simi Valley ( Tapo Canyon area ). It’s been around at least as long as we’ve lived here, and we used to get take out a lot due to the unique varieties of pizza they had. They have lunch specials on the weekday, but you have to be quick the closer it gets to 4 pm, the less options you have. As I stated before, we used to get this all the time when we first moved to town, but the quality does fluctuate, and with closer Pizza restaurants to consider, we don’t get it nearly as much. They still have some of the best white sauce Pizza to date in the Simi area, so thats always a bonus. Furthermore, it’s a local chain, so it’s good to support local businesses if given the chance. Whenever I’m in Tapo to watch a movie and I have time, it’s definitely worth going in to grab a slice or two.

This is another spot that I have been eyeballing for a while so I finally went when I was back in the area. It’s a classic strip mall joint with a nice outdoor setting. The inside had NY vibes and a wall with photos of celebrities that have been there. I was thrilled to find out that Flick from A Christmas Story frequents the pizzeria. Hey Flick, if your out there, please sign my Leg Lamp!! Anyways, I ordered a pep calzone, XL Hawaiian pie, and an XL pepperoni. The pizza was NY style, thin, a little flop, little crisp and tasted decent. I would give it a California 8.2 band a solid NYC 6.8. The calzone was amazing scoring a California 9.1 and a NYC 7.8. I will be back again, next time I’m in the area.

Good food. Everything I’ve ordered from them is amazing, if you have the time and patience to wait for it. There is no hurry at this place unless you are ordering a pre-made slice. If you have the time and patience to wait for a custom order they are delicious and amazing. I always order a custom Stromboli and it is amazing every time.

Well, besides 1 and a half hours for the delivery service and one of the most bland crusts of all pizzas their pizza is normally good, though lately it has been trending the other way, see the picture of BBQ Chicken Pizza. First of all hardly any chicken, second next to no cilantro, not sure what happened in the kitchen with this one??

This place has damn good pizza so I thought I would try there sandwiches and I was VERY impressed. There Italian sandwich on garlic cheese bread is a wonderful, delicious sandwich. Best sandwich around by far and reasonably priced,so delicious and I’m going to try the cheesesteak next. What a great establishment,love this place!!!!

Flavor and quality of the pizza has dropped off significantly over the past few years. Crust is thin and chewy, but very plain. Sauce tastes like it’s straight from a can. No aroma or savory taste no basil or oregano. So much oil floating on the top and soaking through that I had to use many napkins to soak it up, even after pouring it off of each slice. And this oil was NOT From pepperoni as I had ordered a veggie pie. I believe the excessive oil came from cheap processed cheese. Toppings were modest but seemed fresh.
