Very nice relaxing and friendly service. Ordered the ribs, nicely done. Definitely recommend stopping in. They had live music that night, enjoyable.

This is the second time this week i have been here, and the food is amazing. I am from orlando and this place is worth it. The cuban sandwich by far is the most authentic I’ve had since i had moved here 18 years ago. The staff is great. The owners are so welcoming. Please stop by here and give this place a try you will not be disappointed. The pinapple picante was awesome too. Prices are great.

We ordered our food, GROUPER dinner not the sandwich, literally the worse Grouper that I have tasted in my life. No TASTE what so ever. I order mine blackened and my wife order just grilled. We were truly disappointed. TASTELESS. The sides were the same issue, completely tasteless. Also very small portions which by the way I think it was ok since we did not enjoy our food. By the way the total for that tasteless meal was over $80. Stay away.

Second time eating at The Eagles Nest and we enjoyed it. I had the Cuban sandwich with fries and my husband had the trio fajitas. Ice Cold Beers and live music. We went on a Saturday around 4:30pm and got seated right away. Very clean friendly atmosphere. Will definitely go back.

I absolutely loved it!! My husband picked out this restaurant and the customer service was outstanding. The food was so good that we couldn’t even talk while eating it. I never take food to go ever, and I had to take the food with me to go that I had left because the serving was so big. 100% 10/10 I would return.

We have been looking forward to this restaurant opening. My wife and I had dinner with another couple on the first Saturday. The food was good. Service was horrible. One person even received and finished their meal before the rest of us were served. The music is loud and there is no delineation between the bar and the restaurant tables, making it difficult to hold a conversation. It was also quite expensive. I wanted to give it another chance so a friend and I had breakfast there today. Again the service was horrible. There was only one waitress who was not at all welcoming. There were two other tables seated when we arrived and two seated after us. One table kept getting up looking for their check and the table behind us was openly complaining about the lack of service. It took over 5 minutes to just get a menu. We both ordered iced tea and two eggs and potatoes from from the a la carte menu. We did receive our food quickly once we ordered. My eggs were cooked well, the potatoes were boring. When we received the check we were charged $26. When asked I was told that the a la cart menu was only for additions to a full breakfast; yet we didn’t receive meat or toast. Ridiculous. Two chances are enough. We will not be returning. I’m so disappointed. I don’t see this restaurant remaining in business.

We’ve been there three times. The first time was the grand opening. That night wasn’t too bad. The tacos were a little dry and one person had to wait for their food, but otherwise it went okay. The other two times, were just okay. Every time we’ve gone someone has had to wait for their food. The food should be brought out at the same time or very close to the same time for the whole table. Just like every other restaurant does. It’s very awkward when everyone has their food except for one person and you don’t want to start eating without them. My uncle had to wait for his food after everyone else got theirs and then when they brought it out, it was overdone. They brought him something else and that was too dry and overdone as well. And they forgot to bring him back his baked potato. Overall, I think the prices are a little too high for the quality of food and service you get. Hopefully they figure out the hiccups soon. I know they’re just starting out, and I may give them another chance. But I think I’ll wait awhile until they’re a bit more seasoned. Side note….. their pizza is good.

They haven’t opened yet and are now struggling with damage from hurricane Ian BUT still opened their doors this week to prepare meals for all who not only entered but who drove by. Millie and Yovany (the owners) spent all day cooking and preparing meals along with a crew of volunteers. Millie was literally packing meals and running them out around town to pass out to workers getting the island back up and running, truckers bringing in supplies who were stuck in traffic, the police department, fire station, etc. Anyone and everyone who was in need of a warm meal is welcome to stop in and sit in the a/c while they enjoy a delicious hearty meal or grab some to go. Wednesday they gave out rotisserie chicken, red or black beans, white rice, veggies, and water or juice. With the help from the World Central Kitchen they are cooking up genuine meals for the community and I cannot say enough about how amazing they are to be doing this in such a time of need. Oh, and did I mention it’s all FREE?! I will be supporting them as a business once they do FINALLY open their doors!
