This was my first time dining at this establishment, and I was enthralled with the service and the food. Everything was piping hot, fresh, and simply DELICIOUS. I’m a sucker for some hush puppies, and these are (no joke) probably the best I’ve ever had in my life. The grilled cheese was made with apples which added such a depth of flavor with the cheeses. The fries were garlicky and served in a large portion. The spoon bread was fantastic as a stand alone, but when paired with the tobasco honey sauce, it’s out of this world. Who doesn’t love fried chicken? My partner is vegetarian and she’s excited to come with me for the kale salad. The Eagle is one of my go-to safe places to take people from out of town. Get the fried chicken, of course, with hot honey. All the sides are great and a good size for sharing. The mac and cheese is award winning. Fries are good. Corn bread is good. Be prepared for a wait if you arrive without a reservation during busy dinner hours.

Wow! If you’re looking for southern comfort food, this is the place for you! I ordered the fried chicken BLT, and it was amazing! What was even better was the mac & cheese! It was super creamy and had great flavor. Honestly some of the best mac & cheese that I’ve had!

Shipped here for some late night dinner and it DI NOT DISSAPOINT! Some of the food combos might seem odd mixed together but TRUST THE PROCESS… the apples on the grilled cheese made it crunch and sweet, and the chicken club was INCREDIBLE BURST OF FLAVOR! If Mia is working SIT WITH HER she was attentive, sweet, and fun! She didn’t push us out the door she told us to sit and enjoy the Cincinnati Street show haha.

This place was truly spectacular. I had never been to Ohio before, but the Eagle gave me the perfect first impression. The servers were super welcoming, and ours even gave us recommendations for what to see in the neighborhood. The food was the perfect balance of Southern and fresh, and the outdoor seating was ideal for the sunny day. Prices were great, too. 10/10 from me.

My mom and I are extremely impressed with this place. We’re from Louisville and were visiting Cincinati for some other business. We were looking for somewhere to eat before we headed back to Louisville. Generally, we would just grab Skyline but we wanted something different and this was one of the first recommended places that caught our eyes our google and man, did we make a great choice. They’re chicken sandwich is one of the best I’ve had! Savory, crunchy, juicy, and the spicy mayo brought out the spice I love to see and taste in foods. If you don’t like spice, they add coleslaw to the sandwich to add the perfect balance to the flavor and spice of the sandwich. The mac and cheese was even better. Very creamy and the bread crumbs just added even more amazing texture. My mom got some sort of salad there and although I’m not a salad fan, it will be on my favorites list. Very flavorful. Not only was the food good but our waitress (Maya, i believe her name was) was incredible! She was super nice and perky and she was everything you would want in a waitress! If you want a good spot to take your family or want a good but not too ‘fancy’ sit-down dinner then I HIGHLY recommend this place. Although we won’t be going back to this location for a while, i do see that we have one here in Louisville and will defiently be going to the location near us!
