This was a very competent restaurant. The prices are reasonable and the food is very good. The service was also very nice. I really don’t have a bad thing to say about the place. I’d like to go back and try more of the stuff but I had the chicken parm wrap and it was very tasty.

Food is awesome, vibe is great! Servers are amazing. Drinks can be improved though – $14 for a bad well old fashioned is kinda wild. I’m going to be a regular, but I’ll probably stick to the food!

I recently dined at The Downtown Cafe for the first time. We went on a Friday night and waited about 35 minutes for a table. The staff was so apologetic for the wait, they even offered us drinks at the bar “on the house.” The restaurant had a cozy neighborhood feel to it; I noticed many of the patrons knew each other. The food was absolutely great, our waiter was very attentive, and I’m looking forward to my next visit!

Had the Roxbury Hero and was completely blown away at how amazing it tasted. I took a break from here because Covid-19 hit and had shortened the menu but im glad to say the place is back and better than ever.

Upgraded menu was spectacular! I went for the downtown burger, it was cooked perfectly and they used a new bun that was soft and fresh. Highly recommend checking them out or heading back if you haven’t been in a while.
