If you’re ever in downtown Dover and don’t visit The Dover Grille for lunch you’re missing a great place to chow down! The atmosphere is friendly and they have all kinds of memorabilia on the walls, both historic and funny. Service is quick and attentive and the food is fantastic. Do yourself a favor and stop by for a first class dining experience.

We liked this place so much the first night, we came back for breakfast and supper the next night! The food was great, the decor and menu delightful. We are so thankful that we found this wonderful diner. We ordered country fried pork chop, country fried chicken, the steak skillet, the breakfast special, appetizer platter, fried mushrooms, sirloin, smothered chicken, fajitas, strawberry shortcake, chocolate sundae, Hershey pie and brownie avalanche. None of the food disappointed.

Small-town eats with big-time flavor! Walk through those doors and wether it’s your first time or fiftieth, you are treated like family. Is the menu huge? Nope, but it doesn’t have to be with diner classics like hamburgers, steaks and breakfast that will take you back to the ones your mama made when you were a child and no back pain. If you have to pick a place for a meal, eat here, make that cholesterol medicine work for a change, and enjoy!

We’ve visited Dover Grille a few times since moving to Dover and have never been disappointed. My kids love the variety of items! My son said I have to give 5 stars just for the biscuits and gravy ! Did I mention how wonderful the staff was?? Nothing but the best service!!

1st time stopping here, passed by for yrs & never knew it was tucked back in this little plaza on the corner of Dover Rd & Spring St! So Very Glad We Found This Place!!! Menu made us both laugh, whoever made it, Hats Off To You! We got the Sampler Platter – picked Fried Mushrooms, Onion Rings & Pickles! I had the Philly Steak Sandwich & Fries & my husband got the Chicken Fajitas & Fries! We both loved everything! The young lady that waited on us was Extremely Nice, Polite & Friendly! So was the young man that greeted us & cashed us out! Definitely Recommend This Place To Everyone!!!

Me and a friend ate dinner here and I will say that this place has the most entertaining menu that I have ever read. I order a cheese burger that was supposed to be spicy all that came on it was a hot sauce, pepper jack cheese and a fried jalapeño on top. Even though the menu was very funny it really didn’t explain what was on certain items.

We stopped in about 3 PM while out touring Fort Donelson. Celebrating Mother’s Day. Lydia was a FANTASTIC waitress. Our orders were hot, fresh and delicious. And you really got to try the chips and dip! Yummy
