The Dore cheese sauce, though. That is really all you need in life, but add it to their garlic fries and it’s a meal in and of itself. I have not had a bad meal here. Locally owned, friendly staff and as an out of towner, I felt right at home. I would say it has a dive bar feel, but it’s clean, tidy, and welcoming.

After a long day on the road, I was looking for a good dinner. I stopped in, and my server, Abby, was professional but friendly and quick to answer my questions. She was excellent and helped make a good dinner exceptional. Dinner was delicious. I ordered the pork chop entree, which includes a house salad, a loaded baked potato, and a perfectly seasoned and incredibly tender and juicy bonelss chop. Compliments to the chef! It comes with a glaze which you can get on the side. It’s tasty, but make sure it suits your tastes. This was an exemplary dinner, and I would certainly eat there again.

We found this during a stop over in our trip. The food was delicious (steak and the smoke house sandwich) were so good and the woman who took care of us was very nice. It was an excellent wind down from being on the road. Well recommend to anyone.

I got the Asian Chicken Salad. I got the half order and it filled me up. It has a sweet Asian sauce and peanuts. Very delicious! And it comes with the good greens, like arugula.

What a sweet hidden gym. We just ate there tonight and the burgers were fresh and tasty. The atmosphere was awesome. Many screens to view the games on. We will definitely be back. Thanks for a great evening.

I was in Wichita and told I should visit Wellington. “The Dore” was my first stop since open until midnight. Now… I find it hard to leave. I’ve been here 3 days in a row. Monday “Taco Night”, Tuesday “$2 Wells” and Wednesday “Whiskey and Wine”. Always some food and/or drink special. Such warm and wonderful staff and patrons. Amazing atmosphere, drinks, food and recommendations for travelers. This is my new home base and spot whenever I find myself in Wichita area or definite stop if passing through.

I ordered the 8 oz marinated pork chop with the bourbon pecan glaze, baked potato and salad. It was incredible, the ranch was thick, the greens were crisp and the chop wasn’t dry! The portions were large. My husband had the Buffalo Chx sammie with truffle fries, it too was delicious. He said “this is one of the best sandwhiches I’ve had in a long time”-which is saying alot because he was a Chef for 15 years. It’s the best food we’ve eaten since moving to Wellington in December. Cannot wait to come back!!

It’s always a great time at The Dore! I’m from SEK and miss the small town bar and grill vibe in Wichita. The Dore is the perfect place to put my small town heart at ease!

Now, this isn’t a diner, this is a bar. First time I’ve ever been in a bar. However, there were children in this “bar.” The food was outstanding. Hubby and myself had steaks, both of us ordered different steaks. Baked potato was odd, delicious though. Instead of butter, chef put melted butter on the potato. I’d go back. Reasonably priced for the quality and quantity of our meals.
