This place is amazing. I went around 5:00 during a weekday evening and there was no one there, so we had the entire patio to ourselves. The service was excellent, the food was solid (standard Chicago hotdog stand food), and it was reasonably priced. We’ll definitely plan to go back more often.

Great local spot. We occasionally stop for some hot dogs and other stuff and the food is always good. We also recently used their catering services and it was a great experience. Super friendly, worked with us on less than a weeks notice, food was nicely packaged and wrapped at pick up time and everyone at our party enjoyed their lunch! We would recommend for a quick lunch or dinner and for seamless catering for your event.

This is a good spot after movie night. Reasonable prices and food is alright, nothing too special. I do in fact appreciate that they provide you a ketchup bottle instead of packets which is great. Usually no wait times during the night but otherwise would be about 10-15 minutes.

I am writing this while I’m waiting for my order. I come here very, very often. Great employees (I learned one is Catholic!) and they even offer fish meals on Fridays during Lent – I like that they abide by Christian/Catholic values! The employees are always kind and smiling. It is always a great experience ordering through the drive-through as well as inside. I am always satisfied with whatever I order! The taste of the food is awesome – comfy food. The quality of the food is always good and has stayed the same – I have been ordering from here for over ten years!!! Overall highly recommend. 10/10!!! I personally enjoy their hot dog (so good), fries, their chicken sandwich (great sandwich), their mozzarella sticks with marinara sauce and their spinach feta (two things I order the most) and their shakes!!! So, so good! They also have Eli’s cheesecake on a stick. I love this place, can you tell? (For reference this is one of the only hot dog places I go to and do not see any reason to check out others!)

Diner stop. Good for a quick bite. My husband and I like to drop in while doing errands. Their gyros are a great size and oh-so-juicy! Shoestring fries are always fried to crispy perfection. The corndogs are also a popular choice with the kids.

This has been one of my favorite places to get a good gyro sandwich. The Tzaki sauce is the best ever. Wish they would load the sandwich more but I’ll still give them 5 stars because I want them to learn from my generosity.

I have ordered the dog stop through doordash twice now and ohhhh man! This place is mighty tasty! I’m gonna try more things soon but the fries are a must!!! If you are in the mood for an hot dog or Italian beef sandwich ignore all the negative reviews and try this place. I hope one day all you Karen’s understand that every restaurant has their off nights and you don’t have to be so harsh in a review.

Dog Stop provided catering for our graduation event and we couldn’t be happier. Food was ready exactly at the time we needed it, and was hot and fresh when we picked it up. Our guests raved about how good the lemon chicken and the crispy potatoes wedges were, and we were happy to introduce a few out of town guests to their delicious first Italian beef courtesy of Dog Stop. The gluten and lactose free mostaccioli we got for a few of our guests was delicious and well recieved.

Fries were good, but the hot dog was smaller than I thought it would be. They wrap your hot dog and fries together which I’ve seen before but then your hot dog bun is super flat. Important to note, there is no changing table… so be ready to take your kid out to the car if you need to change their diaper…
