Last time we rode the motorcycles here it was closed, today we found out it has reopened. Love this place!! The atmosphere down by the river is awesome. Service is excellent, and the food is alway satisfying. We had the Doc burger and the Cod fish sandwich

The food was great. Tenderloin sandwich was shared with my husband. The server was quick, kind, and knew the menu. We had fried mushrooms, fried oysters, and fish bites. We sat at the bar, and she took our order. Saw others who weren’t sitting at the bar, go up to the window, and order. They call your name and you get your food. Seating inside and outside. Great place!

I have to be honest, that’s what the reviews are all about. 4 people ate. I have wanted to eat there since they reopened. One got the tenderloin, he said it was great. My wife got the stromboli , she said it was good. My buddy’s wife got the grilled chicken and she said it was awesome!!! Just my luck, I guess, I ordered the fish sandwich, which has very high reviews, but it was bad. I just have to tell it like it is, I told my wife that a McDonald’s filet-O-Fish would have been better. They just missed it on my fish, but what it is…it is.

This little pub, tucked up at the river’s edge in Leavenworth, In was an expected surprise. The restaurant was a community staple until it close suddenly about 5 years ago. Speculation has waxed and waned regarding a possible reopening. Recently new owners stepped forward and the long-hoped for reopening happened at the end of May. Anticipating bigger crowds we chose to go midafternoon. The menu is varied enough to suit most palates, concentrating mainly on pizzas and sandwiches, with several plate dinners. Counter service was prompt and friendly. I opted for the cod sandwich, plus an appetizer of onion rings. The rings were very good, crispy batter, not greasy. The sandwich was a very generous portion of cod, fully dressed, with a good tarter sauce. All came out piping hoy. More than I could eat! They offer a full bar, with an uninspired beer list. Indoor and outdoor seating, with a gorgeous view. Live music on the weekends. Definitely will warrant a repeat visit!

Had a great time on Memorial Day listening to Hank Rose + Millie Muenier play during the Grand Re-opening. Tons of people having a fun time on the river, soaking up some sun and a few beers. There was a looooong wait for food, but again, they were absolutely mobbed. Beer was three bucks for a bottle. Very festive and pleasant crowd all afternoon. Locals, some bike groups, all sorts. Had some appetizer/bar food, and it was fine. Never did get to try the pizza. We’ll be back again for that. Gorgeous location and very chill vibe. I will say, they definitely need to invest in some shaded tables as well as have a plumber on call. We got baked without any shade/umbrellas or other options, and I think the band did as well. The bathrooms were declared out of order at about 3:30. Definitely not good for the ladies. A few bumps, but the place was really humming and worth another trip some weekend soon!

Pizza was awesome. This is a food shack with tables inside and out in a campground. I was looking for a sit down restaurant, but made the best of it. We caught them on a bad night when order system crashed.
