Stopped here on our road trip to get some authentic Louisiana cajun food. My wife got crayfish (spelling?) and I got the alligator bites. Both our meals we delicious and worth the stop. We didn’t checkout the dock portion since we had a cranky toddler with us, but the lake looks pretty from the road. I usually take pictures of the food… but we ate it before I could .

Not at all what we expected. It seems like a Subway when you first walk in. Or a makeshift convenient store. In the back it’s a restaurant that is not handicap accessible. To order you go up to the sandwich counter and stare up at the sandwich menu but order from the dock menu. The food is so so. On the way out we saw a sign for hibachi grilled food for the same place we were in… Seems they can’t figure out what they do. View was beautiful but the dock is not safe.

Great food and great views you really can’t beat it. The staff is always friendly with fast service. You can sit up front and watch the cars go by or sit in the back and see the lake or sit out on the deck and get some fresh air. The crawfish are the best I every had other than my own. My son got the catfish basket and it was great. The smoked sausage they put in the crawfish is phenomenal. The sweet tea is just right and don’t forget to get some pork rinds on the way out.

Food here is great, scenery is awesome great place to sit down and have a great cajun meal. You can dine indoors or on the dock. The dock has a great view of the lake. If your ever in the area for a fishing trip or just a boat ride the restaurant is also accessible from the lake.

I was driving through and decided to stop because this place caught my eye. It has a good vibe to it like its was popular pre-covid. The view of the lake is beautiful and the staff is nice. The menu is mouthwatering and worth the stop. If I could give this place more stars I would.

The food was delicious but the building is quite run down and the environment isn’t the best. The fish tank definitely needed cleaned. There were no fish in it but it still had the water. I have heard that it used to be a beautiful restaurant at one time. It definitely N Italy needs se TLC but the food is amazing.
