We loved their pretzel bites with sweet beer cheese, so sweet of them to include 2 more delicious dipping sauces! They have the creamiest slaw, perfect fries, delicious panini style Cuban sandwich with the softest bread and that brownie… sooo good! Will definitely be back for more.

Cute diner. Tasty Reuben, burgers and sides. Loved the fountain soda and service was great. Open later than most diners. Went during off-peak hours. Would definitely return.

This restaurant represents a revitalization of downtown Avon Park. We are glad to see their hours have expanded. They serve good ol fashion southern cuisine and hospitality.

I had the bacon jam burger and fries. It was fabulous. My friends had the meat loaf, potato casserole and salad, and the double smash burgers and fries. Everything was smothered in delicious.

The Classiest Dive in town is hands down the best joint in town! Rembering the Diving girl sign that was once a Highway 27 landmark and for me as a nostalgic flasback to car trips and knowing when I saw her neon diving that I was almost home only adds to the ambiance for me. The nostalgic snap shots decorating the walls and the cabana style booths are a treat. If you don’t want great food, good tunes, and a cute atmosphere you should probably eat somewhere else and definitely don’t try the Jalepeno popper smash burger. However if you do enjoy great food and good tunes eat here and try the smash burgers, although I do have to say the Tubin’ Cuban sandwich is pretty great too.

Stopped in today to try it out. Decorations are cute, women’s bathroom decor definitely easy on the eyes! Mom ordered the Reuben, it was good, a little pricey, but good. It comes on a grilled pretzel roll, made it difficult to eat as the insides kept squeezing out of the bun, came with fries, those were excellent! I tried their “famous” tuna melt. I had it on the rye, one side was burned, no big deal I don’t need all that bread anyway, so I ate it open-faced. It was ok. I prefer them a little cheesier and a little creamier. I chose the potato skins as my side, loaded with cheese, bacon & sour cream. They were not good. Definitely not worth the up charge. They were sliced very uneven and cooked just as unevenly. Still fun to try! Overall, it was just ok and a little pricey. They are still kind of new, so we will definitely give them another try soon! Staff was friendly!

Delicious Saturday brunch. Definitely worth a try. The breakfast bake, grits, hash brown casserole #swoon and Cuban sandwich (not authentic, but just as good) were all excellent. This is not your typical diner. It’s new and improved. Worth a try. Very clean, polite and knowledgeable staff, quick service. We will be back.

Grand Opening today! Plenty of delicious food, reasonable prices and attentive friendly service. Nice atmosphere and clean. Recommend the Swimming Piggy Omelet and Frisbee on the Beach French Toast. Located in downtown Avon Park, FL, corner of S. Forest and Main St. Handicap parking/access.

This is now the Dive In Diner and it is amazing. We went for breakfast and the omelets are great. You can even get craft sodas there. The 40-60’s vibe is awesome and the service is very good. Right in the heart of Avon Park across from The Jacaranda Hotel and down the street from the Avon Park Ice Cream Co. Definitely will eat there again.
