Great staff, our waiter was a ton of fun. He had a great time asking us where we were from (Toronto) and then asking tons of questions about the city. He even bought some Canadian money off of us and then bounced around the restaurant showing it off to all his co-workers.

The chicken & waffle was good. The chicken was nice and crispy and the Monte Cristo was not bad but I would’ve preferred to taste more of the French toast and I didn’t particularly like the mustard in it, I think with a sweet jam it would’ve done the trick for me. But overall not bad. I would go back and try a different dish.

We had the most excellent experience at The Diner. Our server, Quay, was top notch! He was so friendly and kind and on top of everything. Excellent server! My wife is gluten free and she loved the gluten free waffle! All of our food was delicious. I loved the smoked sausage. Again, such a good experience!

I’m so glad we stopped for breakfast before driving home from our mini vacation. This little gem is nicely decorated with cute little quotes and sayings that made me fall in love even more. We were greeted as soon as we entered and were seated almost right away. Our waiter took our drink order and gave us a few minutes to browse the menu. They have the best mocha latte, by the way!!

The food was really tasty, presentation could be better. I had the bennyffle, eggs Benedict on top of a fluffy waffle and sliced ham. I wish there was more sauce because it was amazing. The potatoes were cold…which was disappointing. Hubby had the chicken biscuit with sausage gravy. The chicken was tender and juicy, very well seasoned. The biscuit was flaky and fluffy. The gravy was good, but not the best we’ve had. Service was ok. We saw our server 3 times, to get our order, drop off the drinks, then to drop off the check. We didn’t have bad service, just seemed like everyone was tired.
