Restaurant had a good vibe to it and the food had a nice presentation. I liked how the fish and chips came with Tartar sauce, lemon, vinegar, and Cole slaw. I ordered the Japanese curry sauce as well and thought it was ok. I did like how the fries were crunchy and well seasoned. The food itself tasted good, but it was not mind blowing. Everyone at the restaurant was polite which was not something I have experienced in a restaurant for a while. The restaurant had live music but the band was only there for 10 minutes or so. We went around 2pm on a Sunday and it was not busy

Went here to celebrate friends birthdays and we had such an amazing experience. From the food, to the drinks, and the exceptional service given by all the staff. From the beginning to the end we felt very welcomed and not to mention, the food was very tasty and filling. Bar and atmosphere all around was very nice as well. Thank you

A hang out spot, a date night rendezvous or a private event, The Dearborn had all these vibes when I stopped in for dinner. Reservations suggested but I was lucky to catch the turnover and nabbed a table for four on a very busy Wednesday night. Bar was packed, dining room was 90% full. Great energy and everyone was having a good time, especially the very loud table behind ours. Didn’t mind as we were there to soak in the vibe and to eat. The Dearborn Burger (added a fried egg) was the best burger I’ve had in Chicago thus far. Notable mentions: the duck and foie gras dumplings, and the Wellington Burger. Pastry shell was so savory and delicious, I could eat that all day!

Great spot for dinner and drinks in the loop. Portions are generous, and cocktails are a highlight. Stopped in before a show and got seated promptly without a reservation, though would recommend reserving ahead during peak dinner hours. The server took time to walk through entire menu to highlight best options for my dietary restrictions, though there were sadly few gluten-free options.

Incredible experience. I was anxious when I first entered and worried I had picked the wrong restaurant to dine with my parents who were from out of town. Turns out, I had nothing to worry about and as the night went on I became very pleased with this choice of restaurant. Let me start by saying the food was absolutely delicious. From presentation, to flavor, and how everything was cooked we were all so satisfied. Our server was bubbly/accomodating and never failed to answer our questions or tend to our needs. The ambiance and music was rather nice. And it was really fun to be in a place with outstanding customer service. I ordered Lillyana’s Garden a delicious mocktail along with the salmon ceasar and hubby had a burger with fries. My parents ordered the steak with brussel sprouts and fish & chips. Everything was soo yummy! I forgot to take pics but we even ordered dessert. Toffee date cake with ice cream and the cookies were really unique and upscale. I loved it!

Delicious food and a great ambiance. The service was extremely quick and attentive. My group was extremely pleased with the food and the presentation. I highly recommend the buffalo chicken burger which I got without the slaw but it was still fantastic. I’m usually not a fan of thin fries, but with their seasoning, it was delicious. Great, cozy, American classic restaurant and I highly recommend. It’s especially great before a visit to the bean and a walk along the river.

Came in for lunch and Olivia was our server. She was very attentive and informative about everything. The place was extremely clean and nicely decorated with a cozy feel. The food was outstanding! We got fried chicken and fish n chips! As we were leaving we asked for good dessert spot for after a show we were headed to later on. She said they have the best desserts and to come back later. That we did. Highly recommend this place! Twice in one day and I would do it again……

loved this place, loved the staff, loved the food. the ceviche was so good we cleaned the plate. then we had the duck and the chicken — both are worth trying; the chicken has more food on the plate so i would go with that if you’re really hungry. the gnocchi with the chicken is tender and homemade, and i cannot comprehend how they get the butternut squash purée so smooth that is served with the duck. i will absolutely be back to order the fish and chips.
