I hadn’t been there in years since I no longer live locally. Stopped in over the summer and the wings and fries were fantastic! Great friendly atmosphere with great food at a reasonable price! Will definitely keep it on my ‘musts’ of places to go on my next trip back home!

Visiting from out of town and I wanted to have wings from a local restaurant. I’m so glad we chose the Deacon’s bench. Super charming restaurant. Food was absolutely amazing. The owner even came out to say hello. I would highly recommend heading over for an affordable yummy meal.

Used to love this place-but even with the old owners it had gone downhill. Decided to try it tonight with the new owner. Never again. One of the worst burgers I’ve ever had. Literally thrown on a bun, wilted lettuce and a small rotten tomato. The burger itself had a funny taste to it. Really want to support locally owned businesses but with food like this I just can’t.

This is almost a hidden gem these days. The establishment has been around since I was a youngster so, I may be a little biased but, a fun small local place to go for good food with good company. If you’re in the area set some time aside to stop in!
