Really underwhelming, the curry pot had great reviews and I love a good butter chicken but this was not that. I don’t know if there was a mistake or something but my butter chicken tasted more like marinara than curry, couldn’t taste any turmeric, garam masala, or cumin in it and the color showed. Much more red than any butter chicken I’ve had, naan was okay, rice was good, and the chicken was cooked well but very confusing sauce.

Tried the chicken Tikka masala and garlic naan. Chicken chunks are huge, thrown into the sauce to order. Sauce is much more flavorful than most I’ve had here in Ohio. It doesn’t use as much cream so it’s more watery, especially with sliced peppers added in. I wanted more rice because there’s a lot of sauce left over. I will need to order another side of rice next time just for that.

Bought butter chicken on Aug 23 and was so disappointed. I’m not sure what has happened to the butter chicken, but the sauce was very red tasted like a Marinara and nothing like the butter chicken I fell in love with when you were at Local Roots. Nothing about this new version of butter chicken should be called butter chicken. It was some kind of red spicy sauce that didn’t remotely taste similar to the previous butter chicken, and there were far less pieces of chicken and a lot of sauce. I was so disappointed. I’m not sure if I will ever get Curry Pot again if this is going to be the norm moving forward. I’m not sure what you did but please find your old recipe for butter chicken and go back to it. This was my favorite dish and now it’s inedible.

Great food! We stopped in for lunch. There was no inside seating available, but the sun was out and we found a slightly shaded area on the patio. The food was delightful. If I lived in the area, I would definitely return!
